  Superior quality to many niche fragrances, but it’s not my thing. The opening recalls Miss Dior EDT Original; a patchouli that, without intending offense, sounds dated (I hope we don’t crucify absolute statements like we do with Invictus or Sauvage). Still, I tolerate it—better than Miss Dior, perhaps because the dry-down is shorter. No harsh alcohol or muddy notes; there’s brilliance and richness. I detect little geranium; the evolution shifts 100% into a gourmand cinnamon vibe, like Lolita Lempicka’s L. It’s a rare twist, doesn’t quite fit for me, but I was completely won over.

  A Dior in its prime, hoping Francis Kurkdjian brings it back. Starts fresh and heavy, then settles into a curious herbal-aromatic blend. Hard to define; it has a vintage, green, earthy harmony that’s fresh and beautifully complex. Reminds me of nothing I’ve ever smelled. I love exploring scents with such history.

  First spray and I thought, ‘So familiar!’ But once I confirmed it’s a clone of Estée Lauder’s Youth Dew, everything clicked into place.
