Wow, Senzadite! I just tried it and my heart skipped a beat—I didn’t even realize I was smelling Cuir de Lancôme until I read your comment and you confirmed it. You nailed it: it smells super similar to Dior Homme, but softer, with less longevity and projection. If you like Dior Homme and are looking for something cheaper, this is it, just make sure to apply it generously. Update: On my skin, the longevity is terrible, there’s almost no projection, and after a while it changes so much that it doesn’t resemble the original at all.

The previous version of Amber Elixir already smelled amazing, though fruity, and this didn’t convince me at first… but this one promises a lot thanks to the iris and amber. UPDATE: I received a sample and can say it truly lives up to its name; it’s pure smoky, sensual amber; I can clearly smell the bourbon vanilla. Unfortunately, its longevity is scarce, and you need to reapply it in just about two hours.
