Flores by Paula Cahen D'Anvers: A White Floral with a Twist

Flores is a unisex fragrance from Paula Cahen D'Anvers. It leans into the beauty of white flowers while adding spice and woody warmth for a contemporary feel.

The name, which means 'flowers' in Spanish, hints at the heart of the scent. Jasmine, gardenia, and honeysuckle are brightened by pink pepper and grounded in sandalwood.

The fragrance is built around a rich white floral accord but doesn't stop there. Lactonic notes introduce a creamy smoothness, fruity touches add roundness, and animalic undertones give it a subtle, magnetic sensuality.

Jasmine offers an intoxicating depth, gardenia brings a waxy, creamy texture, and honeysuckle contributes a delicate floral freshness. Pink pepper sparkles at the top, while sandalwood wraps everything in soft, velvety warmth.

Although the perfumer and release year are unknown, the scent has earned a solid reputation among niche lovers. Based on 6 ratings, it holds an average score of 4.33 out of 5, indicating positive and consistent feedback.

Flores works well both during the day and in the evening. Its unisex nature lets it sit effortlessly on many skin types, and the equilibrium between florals and wood makes it a versatile addition to any collection.

In short, this is a perfume that dares to walk off the beaten path without abandoning the charm of white blooms. It offers a modern, distinctive take on the floral bouquet.

Those who enjoy floral scents that are not overly sweet or classic will appreciate the complexity and versatility of Flores.

Flores is a well-crafted, characterful floral that works across genders and occasions. A hidden gem for niche perfume lovers.

This fragrance reminds me of Amor by Paula Cahen D’anvers. Although this Cologne version is more subtle, it’s as if the jasmine of Amor had been left floating in fresh waters. It’s a very tranquil scent, perfect after a shower, for the gym, or for the way back home. I love the bottle.
