I can’t believe it. Fifteen years ago at WALDO’S, they sold treasures of all kinds, from L’Oréal Pro to GAP brands. I picked up White Amber there: for 50 pesos a bottle, I got 25, and now only three are left. What a delight—it smells like Ungaro but lighter, dusty, warm, and sensual, clinging to the skin. At that price, a unique and exquisite masterpiece from GAP.

Good, beautiful, and cheap. Not sweet or common, perfect for mild spring or summer days. Some say it smells like a new book; it has a weird vibe and tons of personality with brutal longevity. I loved it so much I grabbed three bottles because it’s hard to find. It only shows up on skin—nothing on paper—but on the body, it has an irresistible development and a strange sensation that’s hard to explain. It smells like an intellectual, curious person, unisex. No known relatives; it’s meant to stand out and smell different.

A rare amber, almost bitter, different from anything I know of in that style. Very surprising, absolutely not sweet, and totally unisex.
