It smells like flan caramel at first, but in seconds it shifts to burnt coffee, then licorice and liquor. Sounds bad on paper, but it smells like caramel coffee toffee. Super addictive. Didn’t even macerate it and it’s gone in a month. Adult gourmand.
Delicious. I was looking for something like Lush’s Sticky Dates, which is my favorite, and this delivered. It’s not identical, but it’s perfect for layering and lasts all day. Sweet and caramelized without being cloying. I even wear it in summer, but only at night.
I feel scammed, lol. I read it was a dupe for Sticky Dates and nope, it’s not. Maybe they share a vibe, but it’s only about 60% similar. Sticky Dates has no orange; the bitterness comes from coffee mixed with woods and resins. Here, the coffee and orange stand out like a liqueur made from those ingredients (or candied orange) and are intense throughout the dry down. It doesn’t soften as much as the original. Didn’t like it :c. At least it was worth it, came out to 12k pesos.
A dead ringer for Sticky Dates by Lush, just with more punch.
Delicious, edible, and totally gourmand. At first, it smells like a cognac and coffee carajillo, very realistic. The first time I was scared because the liquor scent was too strong and invasive, but that lasts only a few minutes. Then the intensity drops, the liquor fades, and it leaves behind a very sweet, caramelized, creamy milk coffee that won me over. I’ve had it for two days, so it’s too soon to judge longevity or projection. Might edit this later if it turns out useful for anyone.
