A blend of Erba Pura and Invictus; as it dries down, those fruity and fresh notes are incredible.
This smells twice as much as regular Nitro Red and isn’t worth it. It’s more intense and aggressive, nothing fresh or pleasant. The original is way better.
For those saying it smells like Hawas Ice: no. It’s a similar DNA but more intense and fruity. You take away the freshness of Invictus Aqua and replace it with plastic peach and overripe watermelon sweetness. Is it bad? No. Is it worth $45-50? No. It lasts well, has a semi-decent scent, and good projection. Not a blind buy. 5/10. Edit: smells like thick watermelon bubblegum.
It reminds me a bit of Valentino Born in Roma Elixir, super loaded with amber. I’m not a huge fan; it smells good and pleasant but isn’t addictive or has anything very special. It holds up well for guys under 20, parties, and the like.
Dumont’s Nitro Red Intensely left me with mixed feelings. I bought it blind; the opening is pleasant but soon it sounds very synthetic. It smells sweet, fruity, and sparkling, but with a low-quality gummy note: rich at first with that sweet punch that attracts, but with a rubbery texture that detracts from the enjoyment. It’s that duality of something that smells good but feels artificial at the end, like a candy that promises more than it delivers. The good thing is the bottle: flawless, striking design, and a luxury magnetic cap. The contents don’t match the packaging. I wouldn’t buy it again. It doesn’t smell bad, it has a rich drydown, but lacks naturalness and depth; it’s only half enjoyable. 6/10: correct for trying, but not essential.
If fragrances that are said to be short-lived last long on my skin, imagine this. For those who don’t know it, it’s high quality, smells like Invictus mixed with fruits, made in France, beautiful bottle, heavy magnetic cap. It’s total rock and roll, sweet in the current style without losing its masculinity, bright, and with an elegant woody base. This is beastly but beautiful. If you don’t have either of the two, buy this; if you already have the Red, wait for it to run out and switch to this. It’s simply the Red with clothes on, with quality detergent, and you can still smell it. Just like its name, it’s the intense version. (Brava) Why comment on longevity? Maybe exaggerated, but it makes me happy and I’d buy it again in a few years when the bottle runs out.
I sense a bit more quality than the Nitro Red Original (OG), but owning both is redundant. Although I notice that better quality, the watermelon note in the OG feels more attractive and youthful; here they swap it for melon and it ends up a bit more formal. It’s that watermelon note that draws attention to this family. The OG is Invictus + watermelon, here it’s Invictus + melon and a note I haven’t identified yet. I have both and they’re excellent: all-rounder, good longevity, and great sillage. Either is an amazing blind buy, but if I had to recommend just ONE, I’d say buy the Nitro Red Original; it generally tastes better.
