  1. It’s a fruity and woody fragrance that captivates from the very first moment. The pineapple with saffron creates an incredibly pleasant opening, which is then gently embraced by warm woods while keeping that fresh character. It’s a top-quality scent, totally unisex, with good longevity, though the price is a bit high.

  2. Botanicae nailed it with Taro: it’s original, gets compliments, and lasts well on the skin (7-8 hours). The pineapple and saffron in the opening are executed beautifully, enhancing each other. Note: it’s not a Spanish Aventus, so don’t expect that if you don’t want to be disappointed; those false expectations have led to unfair criticism. Taro is a great fragrance. If you’re looking for something similar, try Mystery Saffron by Superz Budapest—it smells like sweet citrus without mentioning pineapple, avoiding forced comparisons. The heart has lovely but brief florals before giving way to delicious oud and herbal patchouli. The good, the brief, is doubly good. It’s versatile: not for formal events or sports, but perfect for the office with moderation. Ideal for spring, fall, or when it’s under 86 degrees. In summer, go with En Route by Botanicae, which vibrates similarly but lasts less (around 6 hours). Although it’s unisex and most men will want it, I encourage girls to try it; people have asked me if it’s unisex because they wanted to buy it. It’s a hidden gem worth a chance. As always, test niche fragrances on your skin before buying; don’t rely solely on blotter notes or ratings, because sometimes what matters isn’t the smell. This review is honest because I’m telling you what I feel when I wear it.
