I love Iris, and as a fan of Moschino’s I Love, I like this one, but you have to give your skin time to let it evolve. It’s not flawed; its opening is like bitter orange over fire: put a peel on the flame and you’ll recognize the scent. Then you have to appreciate the green notes; the ultimate expression is Aura by Thierry Mugler (discontinued), Eden by Cacharel, or Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. This perfume mixes it all: the sharp orange opening softens after 20 minutes, blending into a sweet floral heart with that fresh green tea vibe. After an hour and a half, it’s settled. If it has sillage and lasts on the skin, consider that even expensive perfumes in this style aren’t longevity bombs—they’re for daytime and summer, so they can’t be heavy. I don’t have another perfume that shows the evolution of Iris so clearly. Should I recommend it? Yes, I couldn’t say no because, as I said, taste is like color. Some people love cherries while others find them like cough syrup, or greens like Aura that smell like grass or insecticide to others. It’s just taste; perfumes aren’t bad or ugly, each skin takes the essences differently based on pH and care. Anyway, it’s a good perfume, just for people who aren’t simple-minded. Hope this helps. Repeating: it has a sharp bitter-orange opening but softens until it blends into the next phase; if you don’t give it time, you won’t know if you love or hate it.

I saw a TikTok saying it smells like celery, and it’s true. It opens with celery, then the heart is similar to Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue but in a bad version because the green tea still dominates, making it invasive with a powerful sillage that doesn’t wash off. If you love intense herbal scents and celery, you’ll adore it; if not, don’t buy it blindly. It lasts forever, which I always appreciate in Cher, and it’s a steal in Argentina—you can get it very cheaply.

This perfume seemed super unpleasant to me when I tried it. I smelled grass, very herbal. I prefer other options if I have to choose a summer fragrance.

Funny Moschino fanatic here, looking for ‘green teas’ and I stumbled upon this by María CHER which surprised me. I agree with L4us: the opening is similar to Funny, but this iris opens with a sharp, sweet, and fresh citrus note with fruity touches (I highlight the green apple), giving way to green tea before finishing in a soft sweet tobacco. That sweet tobacco chemistry with my skin has me hooked. Iris became one of my favorites for price and performance. Luckily, I didn’t have the bad experience with the faulty batch. Edit: there are no tobacco notes in the composition; the aroma is from the chemistry with the skin. In the heart, the apple and lots of green tea stand out. It lasts a long time. I’ll buy it again. Thanks for not smelling like vanilla, caramel, coconut, or sweets.

MaggieMay, the YouTuber Morolove, said it was pulled from the market because something failed in the formulation and everyone’s skin reacted badly… what a pity because it smelled so nice and bad that the company didn’t take responsibility.

First off, it doesn’t resemble Light Blue, and the other day I tried Shakira’s and they don’t resemble each other either. I’ve been using it for a few months because I read it was similar to Moschino Funny, my favorite, and there’s a resemblance in the opening. If you understand that they’re from the same family and share notes, but Shakira’s didn’t work for me at all, and this CHER one I love. Its sillage is medium, it lasts on skin for about 3 hours, but on clothes it leaves a beautiful citrus floral aroma. It’s my favorite from CHER and I think the only one that isn’t a dupe. Bitter orange is first, then pepper and that acidic sweetness of raspberry. It has some celery, it’s quite green and woody. The truth is, it’s very good and the 100ml bottle is a bomb; I’d buy it again. It’s an excellent ally for Funny fans looking for happier scents.

A nice fragrance for very hot days. What stands out most is the tea and apple notes, but since it’s fresh and affordable, the longevity is fleeting and the sillage is almost non-existent. I agree with those who say the scent changes after a few months and no longer smells good; it’s a shame because it’s not worth collecting. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

It didn’t fascinate me, but I liked it for very hot days because it’s so refreshing. I bought it in January 2023. When the heat returned in November, I decided to try it again, and it had gone bad. It smelled terribly bitter and horrible. If you want it, buy the 50ml version and use it all season; otherwise, you’ll throw it away because it’s not quality. What a shame.

Ugly fragrance, smells like diluted floor cleaner. It doesn’t resemble Moschino Funny, Green Tea, or Light Blue at all. Probably a synthetic, poorly made mix of apple, cedar, moss, violet, and musk. It seems to have marine or ambergris notes, but everything is off; this is the worst in the collection.

The Iris isn’t identical to Light Blue, but it’s heading in the right direction thanks to that sweet touch the original lacks. It’s a pleasant, rich fragrance, though its only flaw is longevity. Otherwise, it screams summer and sunshine.
