A bold and unconventional scent, very much in the classic designer school. It captures the entire male fragrance market from the 50s to today. You can really feel those spices and depth from the era. At first, it’s like a blinding, sharp, luminous pomegranate that fills your nose with dry lime alongside that sparkling touch of patchouli. But don’t mistake it for patchouli, because the carnal oud and the sharp cilantro create a completely different vibe. After 15 minutes, there’s nothing fresh left; the top notes are barely detectable. What remains is that warm tobacco note, the sweet oud, and those floral details that remind me of old-school perfumes—feeling powdery yet powerful. I’d recommend this to anyone who loves scents like Chanel used to make decades ago. Watch out for the dry-down, because there are no herbs or woods that overwhelm. I wouldn’t wear something like this even if I were 20, but it deserves appreciation for the artistry and respect for the beginnings of the male fragrance market.
