This perfume is rich good and affordable a bit less sweet than the OG. I recommend it.

It’s a dupe of JPG Elixir but with weaker sillage and performance than other market options. Performance is acceptable but it’s not beast mode. The price is interesting.

In the opening it’s very similar to the Elixir but as it dries down it separates a bit more. It loses the honey sweetness and tobacco depth to gain tonka bean presence. I prefer the original Elixir but given the price difference (30-40€) this is a good option for daily wear. It’s easier to wear when the heat rises compared to the OG. Performance and projection are solid and it doesn’t lose anything against the Elixir. Nothing to object to. Summary: If you’ve been told it’s a 1:1 with the Elixir it’s not. If you’re looking for a less sweet and deep alternative then yes it’s for you.

Smells mysterious and has that interesting seductive touch although it’s not an exact clone of JPG Elixir which is indeed more refined. It’s about 85% similar but watch out: it’s not a bad perfume it’s great because it follows that captivating JPG DNA. I’ll focus on Rayhaan Elixir which is what I wanted to review to give my opinion and help anyone wanting to clear up doubts before buying as I usually do in this community to feel sure about the notes. Rayhaan invites compliments with a warm attractive aroma that blends its ingredients very well; it feels high quality. Ideal for dates night outings or drawing attention anywhere it’s an excellent option. To wrap up the dry-down on skin and clothes is impressive: even after washing the garment you can still smell that rich scent you want to keep smelling.

Rayhaan keeps surprising me with the quality of their fragrances; I’ve really liked this house. The Elixir is quite similar to Le Male Elixir especially in the opening though it separates a bit as it dries down but not too much. It’s less dense than JPG less heavy which is why I think it’s more open for different occasions not just night parties. On my skin it lasts about 8 hours with 2 projections then moves into a personal bubble releasing bursts occasionally. Highly recommended. It has the 3 Bs: good beautiful and cheap.

Honestly, this Ryhaan line has surprised me for the better. It’s similar to JPG Elixir, though the opening is softer; as it dries down, it gains intensity. It’s a delicious honey-sweet scent. If you like sweet perfumes, this is great. Longevity and sillage are very similar to Crimson (though this lasts a bit longer). With 8 hours of longevity and 2 hours of projection, at a good price, it’s a fantastic alternative to JPG Elixir.

Update 1: Finally, like the ‘repentant dog,’ I decided to buy it again. The first bottle I had felt more intense; this current one is a bit weaker. However, the opening is 1-to-1. That said, JPG has much better performance in the dry-down than Rayhaan (they evolve incredibly on the skin), which makes it worth betting on the designer version. I bought it a month ago and had to sell it after two days because the mint, lavender, and vanilla blend didn’t sit well with me, though I sensed it better in the dry-down. Later, I tried giving it another shot with a decant, digesting it bit by bit until I started to understand it. Today I’m wearing it again, and while at work, a girl approached and asked if I was the one with that fragrance (rarely do I receive compliments on a perfume). What a surprise! If you’re going for sweet scents and dare to try it, go for it!

I have a high tolerance for sweet perfumes, but this one is too cloying. If I wear it behind my neck and get bursts of scent, it’s not that cloying, but on the arms and smelled up close, it becomes very overwhelming. Yes, it has good longevity and projection, but as I said, it overwhelms me. It’s sweet with gusto. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it, because I see few occasions where this scent works well; it’s too youthful and sweet. It doesn’t fit the masculine and elegant image I want to project. Maybe it would suit someone between 14 and 18 years old. Summary: Scent: 7/10 (personally, I don’t like this type of scent much), Longevity and Projection: 9/10, Price: 9/10 (great performance for the price), Age: Between 14 and 20 years, Cold weather, night outings.

If you’re thinking about buying JPG’s Le Male Elixir, here is the true dupe. Don’t spend on an expensive perfume if this has 99% similarity. 10000% recommended.

I own both fragrances, and they are identical. You can distinguish them in certain details, but I repeat, THEY ARE IDENTICAL. Usually, they are recommended for winter, but seasons don’t work for me. If I feel like it, I put it on and go out, since I have both. Call me crazy, but I live life to the limit.

First review and I’m already in love. I’ve worn it for two days and it’s spectacular. It’s practically identical to the JPG Elixir. I paid 40€ for 100ml and it’s worth every penny. The longevity is brutal, lasting over 8 hours, and the projection is excellent. Honestly, I’m obsessed.

96% similarity to the JPG Elixir, basically the same scent but with slightly lower potency. Ideal for cold or mild days. It lasts about 6 hours, reaching up to 8 on clothes. It projects like a beast for the first two hours before settling, so you need to be generous with the sprays. Afterward, the scent lingers on skin and fabric. In short: it’s the Elixir just less potent, and a quick re-spray fixes it because it’s the same scent. PS: At first, it smells light; let it breathe for 1 or 2 weeks to settle and avoid olfactory fatigue.

I tested it at a local shop in Madrid and… Phew, I think the little bit of pleasure you get from Elixir for smelling something truly sweet and ‘pastry-like’ is completely gone here.
