It’s just vanilla, nothing else. Out of the entire Monogotas line, which is very affordable and popular here in Spain, this is the only one I like. I think it’s a great option for girls and teenagers who tend to love sweet fragrances. On my skin, I don’t like these kinds of scents, but I absolutely don’t mind smelling it around me.

A year-round staple, except on the hottest days. It’s sweet, tender, and has a powdery touch. Smells like custard or vanilla dessert, very bakery-like. The longevity and sillage are pretty good. If you love sweet, bakery-style perfumes, this is a great daily option. I absolutely adore it.

Very well-crafted vanilla with a sugary, dessert-like vibe, but it’s real vanilla once the initial alcohol smell fades. For the price, you can’t ask for more. Great, as they say, for mixing, but also wonderful on its own. Lasts forever.
This cologne has no mystery—it delivers exactly what it promises: pure, bold vanilla. The price is a steal and the quality is more than acceptable. It has excellent longevity and sillage, lasting days on clothes and outperforming many high-end designer perfumes. One of the best supermarket perfumes I’ve ever tried.
Vanilla Drops is a straightforward, no-frills fragrance that delivers a direct scent you’ll likely enjoy. The vanillin note is a bit sharp at first, but within a minute it softens considerably. You can also detect almond and caramel notes throughout its entire evolution. When blended with fruity, citrus, and floral notes, it shines and becomes quite appealing. It has a fairly oily texture; while it doesn’t project a huge sillage, it lasts on the skin for many hours. If you love vanilla and almond scents and are looking for something affordable, you can’t go wrong.
Strong alcohol note at first, but less than other fragrances in the line like the blackberry or coconut ones. It’s a sweet scent without reaching the extreme sweetness of the coconut monogotas and has less longevity and trail than that one. It’s ideal if you don’t like the coconut sweetness as much, although personally I prefer the coconut one. The vanilla is intense at first but fades, leaving a simpler fragrance after 30-45 minutes without the vanilla really showing through. In the first half-hour, it reminds you of vanilla custard with a slight almond-caramel touch, but it’s very soft and almost imperceptible. A very good option compared to other more expensive fragrances with more artificial touches, thanks to its low price and more natural scent, although of course, it doesn’t reach a real vanilla smell. They’ve changed the monogotas format; now they come in 100ml instead of 70ml, and the design has changed to include an artistic reproduction of a vanilla pod and flower; the cap is now black across the entire line.

I’ve read on some forums, not here, that people say it’s ‘only for women’ and that men shouldn’t use it, and I must show my total disagreement. I claim the male right to smell like vanilla. I don’t think vanilla is a gendered scent, and a perfume with such a pronounced single note shouldn’t be either. There are other vanilla perfumes that do feel more feminine (the Eroski one, the Carrefour one, the Sephora one, etc.), but this one, with such a sweet scent, fully enters unisex territory for me. When I’ve used it, no one has told me it ‘smells like a woman,’ and instead, I’ve received compliments. Therefore, it’s a fragrance that, due to its quantity and price, is always in my collection.

This is my favorite of the monogotas. It has a vanilla scent with a light synthetic opening, but it smells phenomenal on the skin. Despite its sweetness, it’s not usually intense or annoying. It smells exactly like the Listón Rojo (Mexico) vanilla essence used to prepare desserts. High fixative and acceptable trail.
As all the reviews say: Vanilla, vanilla, and more vanilla. Highly recommended for anyone who loves this note. Regarding the price, since I’m not familiar with the costs and the brand isn’t sold in my country (Venezuela), I won’t comment. In terms of scent and performance, it’s a fragrance that’s more than acceptable.
Unbeatable quality/price. Infinitely better than other vanillas that cost ten times more and have a synthetic scent that turns people off. It’s a powdery vanilla that can perfectly suit those who usually don’t like this note. A fine, delicate powder with a slight distant caramel touch.

It’s a synthetic vanilla smell, but honestly, it holds its own against many more expensive perfumes, since recreating natural vanilla is difficult. Hey guys! This Monogatots opens very sweet, with that usual chemical note, but here it’s much milder than others like the Coconut one, which smells terrible at first. It just smells like vanilla, very bakery-style. After 10 minutes, you notice a slight almond and caramel aroma. To me, it’s pure vanilla with caramel and a bit of ground almond—a complete dessert. Great value for the price, perfect for daily wear, room spray, or mixing. Lasts 8 hours with a soft sillage. I prefer the Yves Rocher Vanille Bourbon, but for this Monogatots, I only have good things to say. Both are great vanillas: the Monogatots is sweeter and more appetizing, while the Yves Rocher is more bitter, with that rum-like alcoholic kick. Hey! This monogotas opens very sweet with that typical chemical touch from the line, but it’s much softer than the coconut one, which smells terrible at first. It just smells like vanilla dessert. As gotia79 said, think of a dessert with lots of vanilla. After 10 minutes, you notice a slight almond and caramel aroma, as casablanca77 mentioned. For me, it’s pure vanilla with caramel and a bit of ground almond. A complete dessert! Great value for money, perfect for daily use, perfuming the house, or mixing with other fragrances. Lasts 8 hours with a soft trail after the opening. Personally, I prefer Yves Rocher’s Vanille Bourbon, but I only have good things to say about this monogotas. Both are top vanilla scents: the monogotas is sweeter and more appetizing, while the Yves Rocher feels more like vanilla with a hint of bitterness and that rum alcohol note. Everyone says it smells synthetic, and yes, it does, but much less than super-sweet perfumes like Fantasy or Pink Sugar, which I also own and those are super synthetic. For the low price, it’s worth it, and it lasts quite a bit on skin too.

I don’t like perfumes without vanilla, so I usually mix it with oriental or woody scents to give them a touch. You can’t ask for more at this price; it seems very fair. I hope they don’t reformulate it again because it’s doing very well right now. The truth is, the bottle doesn’t last long because it’s so versatile for daily use.

It still has an alcoholic opening, but it’s gone in seconds and the scent lasts, almost all day on my skin (the previous version wasn’t even there after 3 hours). I use it at home, for casual outings, or for layering. It reminds me of the smell of boxed custards, like Potax or Flanín flans. Ideal for cold autumn and winter days.
I love it. I never used the old version, but I really like this reformulation. For 4 euros, if you like vanilla, you get a cologne that lasts quite a bit and is noticeable. I put it on and for a while it smells not just on my skin but with some trail. On clothes, it lasts all day, and on skin about 4 hours. Since it’s so cheap, I use it at home, for mixing (I love it with Si by Armani and Black Opium), or for a quick walk out. It does smell like alcohol at first, but it’s gone in seconds. Wish the other Mercadona colognes performed as well, because the others last a breath.

I have so many bottles that it’s become routine: I apply vanilla lotion after my shower as the ideal base to mix with This Is Her by Zadig & Voltaire, The Only One by D&G, Good Girl Supreme, etc. The best combo is Libre Intense by YSL with vanilla rollerballs. Give it a try. It doesn’t project much and lasts less than 4 hours; it works more like a mist or body splash.
