I’m a fan of fragrances with history and snagged this at an absurdly low price. Of course, it’s not for everyone. My wife found the dry-down a bit ‘plastic and creamy,’ something I don’t notice at all. On my skin, the rose and polished woods take center stage, with a subtle oud note in the background that adds depth to the wood without overpowering it—just rose and woods. Even though it’s an extrait, it’s very skin-close and lasts about 6 hours max in cool weather. Don’t buy this if you don’t like niche perfumery, are looking for something potent, or aren’t a fan of rose accords.
