Descripción

Bentley Infinite Intense is a men's fragrance from the aromatic family. Launched in 2015, the nose behind this composition is Nathalie Lorson. The top notes unfold black pepper, violet, lavender, and geranium; the heart reveals ambergris, spices, elemi resin, Siam benzoin, and nutmeg; while the base notes land on Haitian vetiver, cedar, musk, and patchouli.

  • I read good reviews about the Bentley perfume line, but this Infinite Intense doesn’t remind me of Terre d’Hermès at all. The opening is quite interesting, as if it were conceived in the 80s: masculine, intense, and spicy. Unfortunately, that sensation fades very quickly, leaving behind a powdery scent on the skin with little to no trail, resulting in a fragrance that feels ‘poor’ and geared towards someone over 40. I’ll give other ‘siblings’ in the line a chance, maybe the EDT version since they seem to have a heavier sillage. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not what I expected.

  • Bentley Infinite Intense line: looks great, but it doesn’t smell like Terre d’Hermes. The opening has an 80s vibe—intense and spicy—but it fades quickly. Leaves a powdery trail with no projection; feels like a fragrance for people over 40. I don’t hate it, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. We’ll try other scents from the family, maybe the EDT with better sillage.

This EDP is an absolute bomb. It projects massively right out of the gate, but after 2-3 minutes it settles beautifully and the notes start to dance. Smells distinguished and exotic all at once. Lasting power is fantastic (easily 5-7 hours) with a huge sillage. The opening hits you with black pepper and geranium before smoothly transitioning to the rest of the notes with calm and force. Highly recommended for strong, confident personalities; otherwise, this scent will overpower you instead of enhancing you.

Undoubtedly a classy perfume; Lalique really tries to use quality ingredients in their fragrances, and each one is a hit. In terms of value, it’s excellent. If you want something with the Terre d’Hermès DNA but spicier and without the orange, this is a bomb. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: +8 hours, Price: 10/10, Age: 30+. It’s perfect for the office, a special dinner, a meeting with your boss, or anything from casual to formal. It works incredibly well in all those settings.

Despite sharing the same brand name, this has nothing to do with Bentley For Men Intense, whose shadow is long—very, very long. Infinite Intense can’t be compared to it in terms of scent type, longevity, or originality/personality. This is just a typical ‘masculine’ fragrance trying to summarize itself in the fewest words possible; let’s say it’s a spicy, peppery scent similar to many others in the market. It’s for a mature, serious man with very all-around use. Projection, trail, and longevity are only a third of the legendary BFMI mentioned earlier. I don’t care for it in any way: indifferent. If you’re looking for something different, original, or risky for a man… I wouldn’t recommend this perfume. Also, regarding comparisons to Terre d’Hermès, maybe only in terms of the target customer and the personality of the wearer. It doesn’t seem to smell similar to me.

  • I already own Bentley for Men and Bentley for Men Intense; I was expecting another original bomb from this house, especially since it shares the same perfumer, but nope. Luckily, I found it at a local drugstore and was able to test it: it smells like an old man, that’s exactly what it conveyed from the first spray. Guys who love scents like Drakkar Noir and Paco Rabanne Pour Homme will be having a blast. Thanks to fate, I didn’t buy it blind.

  • I bought this blind, didn’t know it, and for $18 you can’t go wrong with the deal. I loved the scent; it’s a spicy-floral opening, a bit like Savage Elixir. Within 5 minutes, the full potential kicks in: a very musky amber combined with vetiver and patchouli gives it a citrusy and slightly sweet vibe that fascinated me. I use it totally for daytime, with casual or semi-formal clothes; it’s ideal for very versatile use from the office to a restaurant or outdoors. It has a certain resemblance to Terre in the dry down due to the vetiver, patchouli, and cedar notes, but the dry down is very different. Ideal for people 30 and up; it’s a very mature and serious scent, though it can work for younger people depending on taste. Lasts about 6 hours with 2 hours of projection. Scent: 8/10, Quality: 9/10, Price: 10/10, Longevity: 7/10. Is it recommended? Yes, for the price and for the scent. Not as an alternative to Terre, but if you’re looking for something similar at a good price, don’t hesitate and buy it.

  • In the world of scents, there’s something for every taste and budget. This perfume delivers perfectly on almost everything. It’s very masculine, versatile, and distinguished. I read reviews and honestly, I don’t get it. People are using Arab perfumes everywhere, they all smell the same, and the marketing is everywhere. This one stands out from the pack and has a lot of personality. I’m one of those who says (if you like it, wear it); it works for whatever season you like, though for me it’s spring, autumn, and winter because of that very characteristic wood-forest touch. It’s not sweet, no vanilla involved. It’s MALE.
