Haha, ‘shit with flowers’ fits perfectly. This smells way more like excrement than the Kemi, and the nagarmota gives it extra density from start to finish. It’s not that I dislike it in private, but it’s not something you’d want to wear walking down the street, at least not me. Only for true oud lovers.
The concept of a car is usually simplified to chassis, engine, and wheels, but with brands like McLaren or Porsche, you see incredible dimensions that deserve their own category. That’s Elixir de Kemi: an introspective attar where oud leads the orchestra with formidable accompaniment. It’s like driving a Ford T in 1908 and having a Panamera pull up next to you; I don’t know if it’s a car or a category all its own. Sweet, animalic, balsamic, and addictive, it lasts forever and projects so much elegance that you feel compelled to dress according to the fragrance rather than the other way around. Unisex, for any season, and a pleasure before bed. It’s a before and after, and not always was the past better. Enjoy.
