Sospiro Opera is a perfume with an opening that grabs you from the very first sniff. It doesn’t aim to be an unprecedented blend or use exotic ingredients; it’s simply a joyful explosion of red berries reminiscent of Graine de Joie by Eau D’Italie or Herod. It then evolves into an avoiled base with leather and a peculiar ambergris that can be pleasant or annoying at times, until both phases blend together for pure enjoyment. While I see it as more feminine than unisex, it’s worth ignoring that small detail. It lasts all day and you can tell, though the ingredient quality leaves something to be desired, especially that slight metallic sensation at the start. As for the price, Xerjoff unjustifiably inflates costs to sell luxury products.
