This Agent Provocateur jewel is exactly what its name promises: seductive, with a spicy kick and brutal performance. It’s the perfect, budget-friendly alternative to Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, which costs a fortune. It’s a merciless, highly territorial, and bold fragrance. It opens strong with incense, myrrh, and patchouli (even though they’re listed as base notes, they’re noticeable immediately), creating a balsamic, classic base that’s refreshed by hyssop and angelica. You get a sweet, narcotic touch, almost like ylang-ylang or labdanum. Then comes a luminous breeze of rose that lightens this gothic, malevolent vibe, preventing it from being too heavy. The base is an ambrosial incense with floating resins and oriental liquors, with no gaps. The notes don’t just fit; they create a lustful magic. Sometimes it smells like cigar smoke or even chalkboard marker, but without losing any charm. It’s the essence of that provocative lingerie: red lips, black stilettos, messy hair, and tight corsets. I absolutely loved this scent. It’s adorable, sensual, and very persistent. It’s not expensive, but it smells like the opposite: mysterious and intriguing. It’s floral but with a very modern twist. It has excellent longevity and good projection. The bottle is very original. I’d say it’s more for women 25 and up, though that depends on personal taste. Definitely a nighttime and elegant fragrance that fails in no way.
