Descripción
Fatale by Agent Provocateur is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by perfumer Jean-Marc Chaillan. Its olfactory structure unfolds with top notes of blackcurrant, mango, and pink pepper; a heart of patchouli, gardenia, and iris root; and a base that evokes chocolate, vanilla orchid, musk, and labdanum.

A colleague uses it and I thought it was LVEB, but when I asked, she said it was by Falete, a famous Spanish artist. We started debating because I couldn’t believe its scent was identical to LVEB, while she insisted it was. The next day, laughing hysterically, she showed me the box, and sure enough, it said ‘Fatale’. For me, Fatale will always be Falete’s perfume, and it smells exactly like Roberts’ creation.
I was gifted a 30 ml bottle when buying another perfume; the girl, an underwear designer with her own line, told me it was a clone of Vie Est Belle. It smells like the dry-down of the original, when the patchouli comes out and smells like chocolate muffin, just that stage. I don’t recommend it because on me it lasted two hours and I don’t know the price. That’s my experience.
Ziggy, I’ve laughed a lot about the Falete thing; I also doubt his fragrance was like this. It was a blind buy. There’s no trace of the floral oriental I expected, but rather a pure gourmand where chocolate and patchouli dominate, like in other trendy fragrances. On me, it seems long-lasting; I put it on at 8 AM and now it’s 7 PM and I can still smell it on my wrist and décolleté. Edit: I wore it a second time and… I’m afraid I’m going to gift it away, it turns out to be very strong and heavy. But if you like leaving a sugary trail, this is your perfume. Edit 2: Curiosity for Ziggy, Falete uses Yvresse by YSL and says the bottle is very much like him, very baroque, very Falete (very FATALE).
Ziggy, I laughed at the Falete joke XD, I doubt its fragrance was like that. It was a blind buy. Nothing of the oriental floral I expected, but a pure gourmand where chocolate and patchouli dominate, typical of trendy fragrances. On me, it lasts a long time: I put it on at 8 and at 7 it was still on my wrist and neck. Edit: I put it on again and… I’m going to gift it, it’s very strong and suffocating. But if you like leaving a sugary trail, it’s for you. Edit 2: curiosity for Ziggy, Falete uses YSL’s Yvresse and says the bottle is very baroque, very him (very FATALE XD).
Smells like Vie Est Belle but fruitier, with patchouli and chocolate. People say it’s for night, but to me it feels soft enough for day or the office; it has half the power of the original and feels harmless. The price is great and it lasts a decent amount, but it doesn’t project much. If you reapply, it becomes too much, so better to leave it alone: if it gets old, it can feel strong after hours.
Smells similar to Vie Est Belle, same style but fruitier mixed with patchouli and chocolate. They say it’s for night, but for me it’s not strong at all, so I wear it at the office or during the day; it doesn’t have half the projection of LVEB and feels harmless. Good price and decent longevity, though I feel it doesn’t project much. Still, if I reapply a second time, it’s too much: even though it stays light after hours, I recommend leaving it as is and not reapplying, because if it gets too heavy, it can feel quite potent.
