Perfumer
Alexis Dadier
Alexis Dadier is a highly experienced perfumer with more than 23 years in the industry. He has worked for several well-known fragrance houses, such as Mane, Symrise and IFF, before joining Robertet in 2019.
Alexis’s career in perfumery began in marketing, but he quickly developed a passion for the creation process. He moved to Grasse to study perfumery and learn the art of fragrance composition. He believes in developing a fragrance in the same way that an architect would design a building: first making a sketch and then building it, adding layers and nuances until reaching the final product.
Alexis draws inspiration from a variety of things, including gardens, museums, art galleries, music and architecture. He believes each fragrance has a story to tell, and his goal is to create scents that evoke emotions and transport the wearer to a different place and time.
Some of Alexis’s most notable works include Womanity by Mugler, Fancy by Jessica Simpson, and Valentina Blush by Valentino. He has also created fragrances for Bottega Veneta, Boucheron, Chloe, Comme des Garcons, Courvoisier Cognac, J.U.S Parfums, Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Moss, L'Occitane en Provence, Miu Miu, NafNaf, Off White, Oriflame, Ostens, Oxbow, Retrouvailles and many others.
Alexis believes that the key to creating a successful fragrance is trusting your instincts and letting your heart guide you. He is always open to the intuitions of his clients and makes an effort to listen to their needs and desires. His work has earned him a reputation as one of the most talented perfumers in the industry, and his creations continue to captivate and delight fragrance enthusiasts around the world.
