I bought this perfume out of pure nostalgia, it reminded me of my father who used it in the bull-head bottle from the 80s which, once empty, I used as a play piece to climb my Famobil and Madelman figures. I remember taking off the cap and inhaling the traces of scent left in the empty bottle. I don’t know what it smelled like because my olfactory memory doesn’t go that far, but I do remember it was strong and penetrating, with a lot of projection, because my father put it on when he got up and left the bathroom smelling of it for a while. With all these memories I ordered it from Avon, being the only product I have from the brand. What they sent me looks nothing like it. A classic bottle filled with alcohol, which smells like alcohol and tastes like alcohol, in fact, I use it as alcohol. My joy dashed, and my memory with it. I don’t know what it smelled like before, but now it smells like nothing.
I bought this out of nostalgia, remembering my dad’s 80s Toro de Cabeza bottle he used to play with the kids. I recall taking off the cap and sniffing the residue; I don’t know exactly what it smelled like, but it was strong, penetrating, and lasted forever in the bathroom. That’s why I ordered it from Avon, making it my only product from the brand. What arrived has nothing to do with it: it’s a classic bottle full of alcohol that smells and tastes like alcohol, until I use it as a disinfectant. My joy is a bottomless pit, and my memory of it is gone; I don’t know what it smelled like before, but now it smells like nothing.
