It starts with a fairly comfortable, sweet citrus note that lasts about 20 minutes. Then it settles into warm, potent narcissus and jasmine. Finally, that typical ambery sandalwood base of a warm, elegant perfume. It lasts hours on the skin! Wear it if there’s AC in the office; otherwise, it might give you a slight headache. I don’t recommend it for active daily wear; it’s better for special evening occasions. The sillage is huge—you can smell it from three meters away. Longevity is extremely long. It doesn’t resemble the original White Diamonds essence, despite sharing ingredients. And watch out: don’t gift this to teenagers or 20-year-olds. It’s for someone who appreciates strong scents.
I love it. It’s a less intense, fruitier version than the original White Diamonds, but it shares a lot. It has good sillage and longevity.
White Diamonds brings me so much nostalgia since it was my mom’s favorite. I love this luster as an alternative since it’s similar but sweeter and more youthful. I wear it to work; unlike the original, it doesn’t last as long and has a softer sillage. In the end, I’m not regretting my purchase.
It doesn’t smell citrusy to me; it’s more like a very sweet fruit. Then fresh flowers come through with a very subtle almond note. I think it’s a younger version; with just a few sprays, I’d wear it all day.
