Honestly I don’t think it resembles “Hora de la verdad: Sombra” at all. Vitriol smells musky, animalic, leathery, but with some slightly fruity notes that make it much more pleasant than its brother “Rigor mortis”. I thought it was grape, but apparently it’s red currant and strawberry. I feel it could have easily been part of the Grigia, Farmakon, etc. collection.
Very propositive house, one of those whose perfumes are more olfactory experiences than something you want to wear (or that you need to have a certain value to do so). The one I liked the most out of the 6 in the collection. In the opening, a fresh, clean smell, but at the same time damp/earthy and spicy. A curious, distinctive smell that I liked and that becomes the backbone of the fragrance, it’s always there. In the dry-down, the accompanying notes make it lose some of that cleanliness and I find they dirty it. It becomes saltier (gray amber again? this man really likes it) and musky/dirty accords are more noticeable, sometimes I even detect a smell of crotch or piss (Sadonaso style).
