I gave it another chance and what a relief, because at first I thought about throwing it away. The scent of Olivier Cresp is gorgeous: bergamot, orange blossom, and sandalwood, but to me it also smells like pink pepper and a sweetness I can’t quite place. It’s floral and woody, with the orange blossom taking center stage. For the price, I got a 30 ml in Mexico for 180 pesos, about $9, and it’s totally worth it.

I gave it another chance because when I first received it, I wasn’t impressed and thought about selling or gifting it, so glad I tried it again. It has a nice Olivier Cresp-like scent. Although they declare bergamot, orange blossom, and sandalwood, I also detect pink pepper and a slight sweetness I can’t quite identify. It’s a floral woody aroma where the orange blossom stands out. As for value, I think it’s appropriate; in Mexico, I paid 180 pesos for 30 ml, about $9.

To those commenting on the notes, I’d say the US website is missing a few: patchouli and honey. Since it’s sweet, the wood and that intense patchouli create an incredible combination for a women’s fragrance.

Intense, feminine, and empowering, only for women who don’t want to go unnoticed. The longevity is excellent with an unmistakable sillage that makes people turn their heads. It’s very intense and lasts quite a while on me; I can even smell it right next to my skin the next day. A real gem from the catalog.

Intense, feminine, and empowering—only for women who don’t want to go unnoticed. The longevity is excellent; it leaves a trail and people turn to look. It’s potent and lasts quite a while on me; the next day, I can still smell it right up close. A real gem from the catalog.

I bought it for the packaging, hoping I’d like it, but it was another disappointment. Too woody with green notes; it lacks sweetness. A vanilla base would have made it more youthful and friendly. I received it and gave it away the same day. Yes, it’s intense and long-lasting, it reminds me of the cologne ‘Little Women’.

To be honest, I don’t like it; I tried to get used to it, but it’s too heavy for me and gives me a headache. I prefer softer scents.

  9. It’s advertised as concentrated and intense, and it is; be careful with the sprays because it can be intrusive. It has great longevity and sillage, smells warm, and the orange blossom dominates with a woody base.

Avon’s Absolute Intense delivers on its promise: a powerful opening of bergamot, sandalwood, and orange blossom. It lasts between 3 to 6 hours with a moderate to strong sillage. For me, it’s a great perfume, versatile for casual or formal wear, perfect for cold weather and anyone over 18. In 30 ml, you don’t need many sprays because it’s delicious; if you want more presence, apply more without any issues. A true hit from Avon.

I smell more musk than anything else. No matter how nice the packaging and marketing are, it’s an Avon perfume, simple and smelling cheap. Avon hasn’t updated; they’re still stuck with the same perfumes from when I was a girl in the 70s. They only changed the bottles and presentation. Natura has won a big chunk of the market, and it’s not by coincidence.
