Sweet Disruption W.T. by D'Orsay is an oriental fougère fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2024, this composition is signed by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault. Its top notes of mint, aldehydes, mandarin, pink pepper, and lemon (sour lime) unfold a vibrant and fresh opening. The heart reveals a spiced and floral bouquet with incense, geranium, and Egyptian jasmine. To finish, the base notes of incense, moss, and vetiver impart a woody and mysterious trail.

First impressions: smells amazing, very spring and summer-like. On my skin, the mandarin fades into the background while the mint takes over, smelling like peppermint with lime; the citrus gives a herbal acidity without the typical sweetness of mandarin. It reminds me of a mix between Cedrat Enivrant from Atelier Cologne or You or Someone Like You from ELDO, blended with the sweetness of Baccarat but without the saffron. It’s only been an hour on my skin and I still don’t detect the incense or the middle notes (I doubt they’ll appear). The intention to create a summer version of Baccarat is clear, and if it stays this way, they’ve nailed it. I’ll keep testing it. So far, a notable for D’Orsay.
