  Rosella by Anfar opens with a flash of rhubarb and bergamot, mixed with something tropical and a juicy lychee. I love how it evolves: right away you catch a spicy note, and after 5–10 minutes a sweet rose emerges, with a fleeting aquatic hint of peony. Then comes the velvet and smoky phase—a mystical, mysterious, elegant rose wrapped in incense and powdery musk that gives it weight. But don’t worry, it’s not heavy or dense at all; the rhubarb and lychee keep shining through occasionally, keeping it light. It’s elegant and mysterious, with a touch of playfulness. I see it as perfect for fall and winter; maybe it won’t work as well in summer, but you should try it. It’s more of a night scent, though it works by day if you need to move with distinction. It’s stately, majestic, and seductive.
