  • Excellent aquatic perfume in the style of Invictus, Aqua Polo, Blue Hawas, etc. I really liked it: light citrus opening, very fruity, with apple and plum notes giving it a very aquatic sweet character. Drying down, it’s slightly woody. Very good performance within its style. Ideal for daily use in temperate or warm temperate climates, totally versatile. P.S.: I never understood why it was said to be a mix of Azzaro Most Wanted and Creed Aventus absolute; if someone told me that, I’d imagine a heavy nighttime perfume, but this is something aquatic and fresh.

Definitely a very good perfume, and you can’t ask for more at this price. Citrus opening with a sweet touch reminiscent of Azzaro Most Wanted. As it dries, that sweetness fades and it shifts to a woody, fruity citrus. It has an adventurous vibe but stays fresh and fruity. Hard to describe, but it’s very good. Good performance.

  • Very much in the Hawas for Him line, although Midnight Frost Intense amps up the fresh notes like shower gel or “ice” at the expense of the fruity spark of the classic Rasasi. That change makes it more versatile and easier to wear daily, though it loses some of the appeal that makes Hawas so striking. Its projection is intense for the first 4 hours and remains noticeable until about 8 hours even in warm weather. For $25, it seems like a great option: a fulfilling and pleasant perfume. 4 2/5.

Joining the previous review on Nitro Red: I owned it and liked it, but as that friend mentioned, it’s sharper in its watermelon sweetness and turns very amber when it dries down (I love that). This Midnight Frost by Anfar London seems like a hit not because it’s distinguished (it sits in the Nitro Red/Hawas Invictus line) but because it’s minimally citrusy, aquatic, and sweet with SUPER HORMONES. I bought it, got home, put it on, and went to the gym (intense shoulder and leg workout, lots of sweat). The experience was incredibly refreshing; two people asked what I was wearing, and after two hours of exercise, I could still smell it despite the few breezes (Santiago, Chile, 30 degrees of dry heat). I wouldn’t say it drives me crazy, but without a doubt, I’d buy it again for its pleasant aroma and extensive longevity.

  • I tested it on my skin along with other perfumes, so I don’t have the exact full development and longevity. It felt like a light version of Nitro Red: it has that Invictus/Hawas vibe with a fruit that smells similar to Nitro’s watermelon but without that amber and Baccarat Rouge-level sweetness from the Dumont. A good alternative if Nitro felt too strong and sharp for you.
