Pure honey, it smells like nothing else. I’m a lover of sweet scents, but this smells like honey, and as it dries down, it takes on a burnt honey note. To put it simply.
Pure honey, it doesn’t smell like anything else. I’m a lover of sweet things, but this smells like honey and when it dries down it seems like burnt honey, to put it that way.
Putting this on is literally like pouring honey on yourself. If you don’t have honey for breakfast, don’t worry, you have Kim’s Pure Honey. Don’t eat it! I just wanted to prove it. Honestly, I don’t like it. When the Macy’s associate sprayed it on me (almost my entire arm), the honey scent was overwhelming; I couldn’t smell anything else. But I applaud Kim: if she says it’s a pure fragrance, then let it be pure. Also, the bottle is quite pretty.
Too much honey, nothing else. Smells like a jar of honeycomb and wax. Feels very childish.
I loved this fragrance; I’m addicted to sweet perfumes, so I can affirm this has a discreet sweetness (imagine the cloying syrups I have). Its opening tends to be fresh, like honey with a small touch of lemon, which surprised me. It’s in the dry down when the vanilla and subtle coconut appear, but yes, what predominates is the honey, delicious. I don’t perceive the floral notes. It lasts quite a while and its projection is very good for the perfume’s price.
I was looking for the Lush Honey Body Spray, not sure if it’s discontinued or just hard to find in my country due to the pandemic. I have to say, it’s delicious. Exactly what I was looking for: citrus with honey. Very fresh, not an overly sweet bomb like some Lush products. It has good projection and longevity. The honey is in just the right amount; as it dries, you notice the coconut and vanilla, but it’s not creamy, so I use it on hot days. Well done, Kim. Although I admit I fell head over heels for it. Already planning to buy a refill.
I came looking for a Lush honey body spray that I don’t know if it’s discontinued or hasn’t reached physical or virtual stores in my country due to the pandemic. And I have to say it’s very, very rich; it’s exactly what I was looking for, a citrus with honey. It’s very fresh and not a cloying sweet bomb like Lush. It has good projection and longevity; this is honey but in just the right measure. In the dry down, I sense coconut and vanilla, but it’s not creamy, so I can wear it on hot days. Well done by Kim and her perfumes. Although I have to admit I’ll keep waiting for my Lush Honey. Edit: I’m back just to say I fell in love and am completely smitten, rushing to buy a refill.
Pleasant honey, floral, and musk scent. Feels like natural honey, sweet but not cloying. Smells clean and elegant. I prefer the contents over the bottle. The physical bottle is less beautiful than in the photos, the cap doesn’t stay fixed and spins on its own, and due to its shape you have to grip it strategically to spray, which is uncomfortable. The trail is subtle and it doesn’t last long, around 4 or 5 hours, but the aroma is lovely, smelling like clean honey soap. It’s not a typical celebrity perfume and is worth the price if you enjoy clean, modern feminine scents with a touch of sweetness.
Very pleasant honey, floral, and musk scent. It feels like very natural honey, sweet but not cloying. Smells clean and elegant. I like the content more than the container. The bottle physically isn’t as pretty as in the photo; the cap doesn’t stay fixed but spins on itself, and due to the bottle shape, you have to grab it strategically to spray, making it uncomfortable. Sillage is very discreet and it doesn’t last long on me, about 4 or 5 hours, but the scent is nice and smells like clean honey soap. It’s not a typical celebrity perfume and I consider it worth it given the price for anyone who enjoys clean, modern, feminine scents with a touch of sweetness.
More than honey, this perfume smells to me like yellow marigolds loaded with pollen. Solar, more than fresh. I generally like it, but it does smell cheap; you won’t find very natural or sophisticated scents here. Maybe I had bad luck and on my skin the floral side (which doesn’t offer much) stood out more than the honeyed gourmand (which is the most natural phase, apparently). I enjoy the dry down more because it becomes slightly powdery. It’s sweet but not cloying. It lasts a long time on skin, even after showering. Sillage is moderate to strong, so you need to be careful with sprays.
I bought it for the first time in 2014 blindfolded and was very surprised; for me, it wasn’t a cheesy scent, first because I’m not into sweet perfumes and second because smelling it feels like opening a beehive full of pure honey, it’s delicious to feel that natural aroma in a bottle. I don’t sense many other notes besides honey, a bit of vanilla and roses. This perfume opened my mind to sweet perfumes so much that I just bought it again and it still seems enchanting. Also, it’s somewhat oily, which improves longevity and sillage, especially on difficult skin like mine. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone very sensitive to strong perfumes; although it’s not overly strong, it might be a bit heavy for someone not used to it. It injects energy, sensuality, and warmth. I like it a lot and recommend it.

Delicious. It’s like turning a real jar of honey into perfume. Just add a couple of flowers to a honey pot and they put it in a beautiful bottle. I love it and it performs well on me: about 6 hours on skin with a nice trail. It doesn’t smell synthetic. If you like honey, this is for you. It doesn’t resemble any of the Scandals.
This perfume is delicious, like turning a real pot of honey into perfume. You add two or three flowers to a jar of honey and put it in a beautiful bottle. I love it and it performs well on me, about 6 hours on skin with good sillage. It doesn’t smell synthetic. If you like honey, this is for you. IT DOESN’T REMIND ME OF ANY OF THE SCANDALS.
I think it’s a super pleasant fragrance, a great blend of honey and flowers. It doesn’t fall into excessive sweetness; I’m a floral lover and not a huge gourmand fan. On my skin, it highlights the bee wax and floral scents, especially. The downside is longevity and weak sillage; performance on skin is poor. Since it’s ultra-cheap and I adore it, I usually spray it on my bedroom curtains to enjoy the scent when I enter without getting frustrated.
I added it to my collection drawn in by the name and the pretty bee bottle, but I expected more honey. It smells like soft florals with a hint of honey, but I wanted to feel it more intense as ‘Pure Honey’ suggests. Neither this nor the Jean Paul Gaultier Scandals beat the honey note in Ellie Saab, which remain unbeatable in my collection.
Smells slightly sweet talcum powder, creamy like the old Nivea tub body cream. It does smell clean, but I never got any honey scent.
Bought it blindfolded looking for something honeyed, but I was blown away. It smells like honey mixed with that old white bar soap used for laundry. It’s so strong it makes my nose itch and isn’t suitable for room spraying. The bottle is gorgeous and the liquid looks like honey, but the scent is a total letdown: it’s not gourmand or exquisite; it’s literally a jar of honey washed with soap and poorly rinsed.
White flowers, roses, perfumes, and a little bit of honey; that’s how it smells to me; for me, it’s heavy, I would only use it on cool or cold nights.
I have to keep giving this perfume a chance. I bought it blindly and its cost of 700 Mexican pesos seemed very good to me so I bought it; its longevity is indeed good, but I feel I smell like a honey throat lozenge or cough syrup. I didn’t like it. And if you think because it has honey it will smell like Marc Jacobs or Jean Paul Gaultier (Scandal), NO! Nothing alike.
In my experience, this perfume was like a perfect fit for my skin. I feel like the queen bee. Besides the honey, mandarin blossom, coconut, and vanilla create a delicious blend. Although it sounds contradictory, it’s an intense citrus bomb alongside the rest of the notes. I wasn’t indifferent: my close friends, men and women alike, turned to see where that scent was coming from. Before I even approached them, the compliments didn’t keep coming. Wherever I go, noses are searching for the source. That’s why I say it’s a 10/10. I will absolutely buy it again. I enjoyed it so much and loved it from start to finish. Longevity of over 12 hours on skin and on clothes as if it were freshly sprayed. That’s another impressive point! I love Pure Honey.
In my personal experience, this perfume was like a ring fitting my skin perfectly. I feel like the queen bee. Besides the honey, the mandarin flower, coconut, and vanilla created a delicious sweet blend, and although it sounds contradictory, an intense citrus bomb was created with the rest of the notes. I didn’t leave anyone indifferent; my close ones, men and women, turned around to see where this delicious scent was coming from before approaching, and the compliments didn’t wait. Wherever I go, noses search for the source. That’s why I say that in my experience this beautiful perfume has been a 10/10. And yes, absolutely, I will buy it again as many times as necessary because I have enjoyed it so much and loved it completely from start to finish. Longevity of more than 12 hours on skin and clothes as if it were freshly sprayed, which is impressive. I love you, Pure Honey.
How curious what each person perceives in the same perfume. Reading the reviews, most find it wonderful. When I read the notes, I didn’t hesitate to buy a Pure Honey; in theory it seemed delicious and the fabulous reviews invited me to jump into the purchase. My weakness for honey and beeswax notes also influenced me, but of course, when they are well made and crafted, like with Guerlain honeys. I couldn’t handle Pure Honey. It was a blind buy and disappointing. I perceived the fragrance as sun-dried, rancid, stale, and pasty honey. It didn’t seem like a subtle, elegant, or delicious honey; quite the opposite. I gave it a couple more chances but it was impossible for me to endure it. I even tried layering to get a kinder scent, but nothing. Finally, I took it out of my collection and exchanged it. What a pity, it promised so much with its notes, its color, and that divine, heavy bottle.
What a disappointing perfume. Reading the notes, I expected Pure Honey to have a honeyed aroma like the beautiful L’Eau d’Issey Pure Nectar but with the coconut touch it declares, but no, we’re left with a perfume that smells like sweet cheap white soap. Not recommended, period.
What a disappointment. After reading the notes, I expected Pure Honey to have a honeyed aroma like L’Eau d’Issey Pure Nectar, but with the coconut note it claims, it doesn’t. It just left me with a perfume that smells like cheap white soap. Not recommended.
I wanted to be hooked… I gave it many chances… But I almost hate it. It probably works for others; I can handle almost anything, but this is unbearable for me. It smells synthetic, the honey note fades quickly and leaves a very unpleasant odor.
I wanted to like it… I gave it many chances… But I almost hate it. Surely there are people who like it; I can almost take anything, but it’s rare that I can’t stand a perfume, and this one is unbearable for me. Synthetic, the honey scent lasts very little and leaves a very unpleasant odor.
Let’s understand something: it’s not a jewel nor does it intend to revolutionize perfumery. It’s a linear fragrance that screams camphorated honey everywhere, or so I feel. It reminds me of those solid honey candies in yellow cubes they sold outside my elementary school. It’s a fresh sweetness, but not fresh like mint, but a freshness that evokes relief. I applied it at 8 AM and still felt it on my skin at 5 PM; on clothes, it lasted until the next day. It has moderate projection. I do recommend it; my experience with it has been pleasant.
It smells so much like honey and beeswax that it’s hard to perceive other nuances, although the white floral load is very present, highlighting the freesia with a cleanliness that seems like a desperate attempt to refresh it. It has a moderate trail and lasts 4-5 hours. Honestly, I thought it was a rough and obvious scent; I ended up taking it out of my collection because I have rounder honey perfumes. Scent 5/10, longevity 4.5/10, trail 7/10, quality/price 6/10, versatility 5/10, packaging 6.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.
It’s so frustrating to find celebrity scents that are so beautiful and special like this little perfume; I wouldn’t mind paying more for them if they had better longevity and projection. This fragrance has the most real honey you can find in a perfume, but its dry-down is like baby powder with a hint of honey. I use it to sleep after a relaxing shower, and I also put it on my daughter’s blankets and clothes; it’s an innocent, romantic, and very cute scent. It’s a pity it doesn’t project or last long, but I still love it.
Hello, I tried it and gave it away; it smells super synthetic and feels like a rip-off. I’d rather have a Charlie Gold or Blue than this perfume, which is terrible. Sorry if anyone likes it, it’s subtle and light, but the bottle is the only plus, despite how uncomfortable it is. I thought honey would be the star, but it doesn’t; it smells like synthetic honey bath products. Well, you have to pay this lady, so I’ll stick with a Charlie Blue or Gold: for 10€ I get a super perfume with pedigree. If they priced it at 100€, people would realize how good it is; we assume that more expensive means better, and that’s a mistake. Olfactory beauty isn’t the same as olfactory power. Sorry to the lovers of this perfume.
I tried it and gave it away; it smells super synthetic and feels like a scam. I’d rather wear a Charlie Gold or Blue than this disaster. Sorry to those who like it, it’s subtle and light, but the bottle is the only thing going for it. I thought honey would be the star, but it smells like bath products with artificial honey scent. You have to pay for this lady, which is why I stick with Charlie Blue or Gold: for €10 you get a perfume with pedigree that everyone would notice was amazing if it were priced at €100. We think being more expensive makes it better, and that’s a mistake. Olfactory beauty isn’t equal to potency. Sorry again to the lovers of this perfume.
