Very fresh and juicy, with moderate projection and luxurious longevity. On my skin, what stands out most is the rhubarb, vetiver, and a touch of fig.
I liked it, though it’s not my favorite from the line. I’ll admit the longevity is a beast: I put it on at 6 AM and could still smell it at 6 PM, though very close to the skin. It lasted the whole day without issues, projecting well. Subjectively, it’s not quite my vibe. It’s super citrusy and green, and little else. For my nose, what really pops is an intense, sour, and bitter rhubarb mixed with grapefruit that drowns out everything else. After that, it’s hard to distinguish anything. Nothing like other Euan McCall scents, which tend to be more original and dynamic. If you love rhubarb, this could be a treasure; if not, test it first because the bottle color can be misleading. Still, it’s a good perfume—realistic and natural. Pony Boy is to rhubarb what Healing Berry is to blackberry. It’s a daytime, summery scent, very fresh and easy to wear. I wouldn’t buy it myself, but I’d recommend it to anyone who likes this type of aroma.
