Green, balsamic, and with a smoky touch. The thyme is hyper-realistic and dominates at first; as it settles, eucalyptus emerges, smelling like incense, slightly tobacco-green, with a faint nod to Vick VapoRub without being overpowering. In the dry down, there are some sweet-spiced notes. Be warned, it feels artificial as it evolves, but on the opening, with thyme taking center stage from minute three through the first hour, it’s like having an open bag of dried thyme right in front of you. Worth trying a decant to see if it suits you, but nothing revolutionary.
