Another clone or inspired by Creed’s Aventus: Pineapple Vintage Intense is, for me, the closest to a fruity Aventus batch. On the opening, it smells citrusy and pleasant; as it develops and dries down, that fresh, semi-sweet pineapple note takes over, without the smoky touch. It made me wonder what perfume I was wearing, and everyone said I smelled great. The same goes for Pineapple Intense Gold by Parfums Vintage, the sweeter version of PVI. Longevity reaches 8-10 hours on my skin; the sillage is moderate but heavy if you don’t control the sprays. In hot weather or with AC, everyone will notice it; in the cold, you need to apply more to make it last a bit longer. Does it have better longevity than Creed’s Aventus? Yes, much more, in my experience. Does it smell like Aventus? 98%. Does it feel synthetic? Not at all, on the contrary, it smells very natural.
