  The brand’s website lists sage as the base, eucalyptus as the star (which I absolutely love), and oregano as a supporting note, describing it as: ‘The scent after the rain, brought by the Pampero wind, dispels the clouds and ignites the vast green prairie. Sir William Henry Hudson remembered it by heart, and this perfume transmits it instinctively.’ It belongs to the ‘Destinations’ collection, falling under the green family with aromatic nuances. Several creations by Julián Bedel evoke La Pampa Argentina, such as ‘Whale of La Pampa’ (from the Fábula Fauna collection) with thirteen musks—a specialty of Fueguía 1833—or ‘Dry Pampa’ (also in Destinations), featuring Pampa grass, black algarrobo (Bedel always surprises us with something new), and galbanum (not overpowering at all). It’s an ode to delicacy and balance; rich on the nose, but once it works its magic on the skin, it’s so pleasant it becomes addictive. I believe it’s not yet on Fragrantica, but the house presents ‘Dry Pampa’ like this: ‘The power of imagination makes us infinite. Imagine endless lands ruled by majestic Ombú and Pampa trees, the boundless territories of pure nature.’
