We’re talking about the Eau de Parfum concentration. The opening is intoxicating, exotic, and delicious. The ‘drunken’ effect of rum and vanilla isn’t as overpowering as in my first tests with Bentley Intense. I can’t quite smell the vanilla orchid; I just detect rum and vanilla, with cocoa joining in a few minutes later. The blend of all three notes is excellent—very gourmand, sweet, warm, and intoxicating. I see it as unisex, perhaps leaning slightly more feminine, but perfect for men. Performance is top-notch, lasting over eight hours, with a heavy trail at the start that settles to moderate. The bottle is the cherry on top, a detail that’s a real delight. 7.5/10
One word defines it: EXCELLENT. It’s sweet and intoxicating. At first, the opening is strong and a bit weird, but over time it becomes incredibly rich and striking. Lasts past twelve hours and is worth more than a hundred dollars.
