Opus Vanilla Review: Opens with a cookie and almond blend that is absolutely insane. At 4 minutes, the cookie scent is so intense it almost makes me want to rip my arm off. What an incredible perfume. At 13 minutes, nutmeg kicks in; it tickles my nose a bit but adds a wonderful touch to those cookies. By 29 minutes, the musk appears, and I also detect a hint of anise, even though it’s not listed. The projection is massive and the trail is beastly; you’ll definitely be noticed wherever you go. After an hour, the cookie accord becomes subtle, while the almond and nutmeg base shine through, all wrapped in vanilla. At 1:16, I pick up powdery notes alongside almond, nutmeg, and vanilla; the cookie has vanished. This perfume is strictly for those who love intense scents, as the trail is huge. By 2 hours, I only smell almond and vanilla, and the scent has stopped evolving. At 3:16, the intensity starts to fade. By 8:05, it’s almost gone on my skin. Without a doubt, this is an incredible, high-quality perfume that you need to own.
