What a nostalgia. My mom wears this fragrance every Christmas night for years now. Thank you, Caron, I love you.
This time Caron puts the spotlight on jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang. You’ve seen them in En Avion, Tabac Blond, or Narcisse Noir, but here the extra notes and that spicy touch found in the others fade into the background. Nuit de Noel is something else: unlike the others, it’s not dark or spicy; it’s romantic and serene. Its blend is soft and harmonious, like classical music. Subtle hints of amber accompany the flowers in perfect balance. While En Avion or Tabac Blond go out seeking adventure and dangerous challenges, Nuit de Noel stays alone and peaceful in its flower-filled garden, enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. I think that’s the best way to describe it. It’s even more relaxed than its sister, Fleurs de Rocaille.
