I love this perfume! It smells like green leaves, like basil! But it’s not simple; it has presence and sophistication. The first time I smelled it, I identified with it. I was gifted a sample a long time ago, I finished it, and I haven’t been able to buy the bottle because it’s hard to find.

  • I absolutely love this perfume; I can’t find anyone selling it. If someone could help me, I’d be incredibly grateful.

  • Isabella Rossellini’s Manifesto was one of those ozonic waters from the late nineties—somewhat pale, with soft flowers and that dreamy, zen-like cleanliness. It’s pretty and simple; it faded quietly even though it was advertised everywhere before. It smells like clean, white, starched water with spicy and floral nuances, like vegetable milk with a pinch of pepper and a green, spicy lily of the valley, reminiscent of a pea pod. It’s adorable, less floral than Pleasures, more relaxed than Envy, and unisex, almost masculine due to the bergamot, pepper, and basil. Smelling it feels like returning to that wrinkle-free end of the century, with a mysterious world. Great work by Morillas; maybe simple, but charming. The perfect scent of simplicity, the light of the in-between season, the freshly ironed white t-shirt, and happiness. Highly recommended.

  • So beautiful! I haven’t found anything so delicate and fresh. The green notes don’t take away its elegance. Unfortunately, it has poor longevity, and it’s no longer available in Argentina. If anyone knows a similar perfume, please let me know.

  • Isabella Rossellini’s Manifesto is simple, unobtrusive, and adorable—much less floral than Estee Lauder’s Pleasures. It reminds me a lot of Jeanne Arthes’ Sur Un Nuage. I see it as unisex because of that freshness; to me, it doesn’t smell floral. The floral notes are in the background, while the neroli stands out, giving a clean feel with a subtle dusty touch. The pear is very discreet and adds an earthy note, not a ripe one.

Used to wear Manifesto to the office; it’s fresh, clean, and doesn’t bother anyone. On my skin, the basil comes across a bit strong, which is why I stopped looking for it. I guess they don’t sell it anymore.
