I bought it because I’ve always used makeup powders and I love their scent. It smells great, but keep in mind it’s more of an intimate perfume. Once it dries down, it definitely smells just like the powders.

I picked it up at an old drugstore. I used to use the house powders, the wheat color, and the scent is identical. The seller told me that with the reformulations, it wouldn’t last as long as before. My experience: spicy first impression, but honestly, it didn’t last more than an hour on my skin.

Every time I wear it, I’m afraid someone will say ‘what a stench.’ It’s a scent that doesn’t appeal to everyone. I don’t dislike it once it fades, but right after applying it, it’s too special (not overpowering or suffocating, just unique). Longevity is minimal on me and the trail is limited. Cheap. I recommend testing it before buying.

Affordable and pleasant, much less ostentatious than the Maderas de Oriente from 50 years ago. It’s quite unisex, and although it doesn’t list cinnamon, I detect a slightly exotic and suggestive hint of it.
