  • At first, it smells very strongly of rose. A few minutes later, the liquor note kicks in. By the end, when you’re already disappointed, the honey appears (sometimes natural, other times synthetic, like a sweet treat). Overall, it’s a dramatic fragrance with many facets. If a woman wears it, she’ll feel comfortable thanks to the rose. For a man, the opening might be tough, but once it dries, Mad Honey becomes unisex (never fully masculine). It works for anything, but be careful with the sprays! Never buy blind! I like honey and it suits me, though the opening is always a challenge.

The moment I smelled it, the opening was heavy on honey, but I swear there’s a very subtle note in the dry-down that appears later, faint yet reminiscent of Sadonaso. It feels disturbing, intrusive, very niche, and handled with care. It’s minimal but it’s there. And I imagined it from the start just by the name. 10 out of 10!

The patchouli quality is brutal; that animalic, greasy, dirty note blends perfectly with the rose. Over time, you catch that subtle honey that sweetens the whole thing. It feels very elegant—maybe not for a typical young person, but for someone with real personality and temper. Wear it, yes, but only in autumn or winter…

  • It’s an intense, dramatic scent opening with a powerful, dark rose cut through by dense, animalic, slightly dirty honey. Patchouli takes the lead—greasy and earthy with an unsettling edge that gives it character, blending elegantly with the rose without being overbearing. As it dries, a liquor-like nuance emerges alongside a honey that shifts from natural to almost artificial, rounding everything out and making it hypnotic. Perfect for autumn and winter, for personalities with bite, and totally unisex.
