The opening blends black pepper, pink pepper and elemi resin. It feels fresh-spicy and aromatic, with a resinous lift that keeps the spices luminous rather than sharp.
At the heart, incense and saffron take over. The mood turns drier and calmer, with warm spice, balsamic touches and a faint leathery edge.
