Is there not a single Spanish review for this gem? How is that possible? I absolutely love Cecile Zarokian, and this perfume didn’t disappoint. At first, it smells like a mix of several scents: Lolita Lempicka’s L, Fendi’s Theorema, L’Erbolario’s Mehaares, Chopard’s Casimir, and L’ambre des Merveilles; all sharing a similar vibe, mostly a spiced vanilla aroma with cinnamon and orange. So why have I loved it so much even though it’s not an original scent? Not only because those notes fascinate me, but because it has two notes the others lack that give it its own identity: labdanum in the heart and a wonderful leather accord that gains strength as it dries. It’s not animalic or overpowering leather, but sensual and addictive, giving it an incredible dry-down. It’s spiced, slightly gourmand, unisex, and worth every penny. Happy to have bought this beauty blind. As for sillage and longevity, I’ll wait for the oxygenation to do its magic.
