Descripción
La Colle Noire by Dior is a unisex fragrance from the floral musky woody family. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by perfumer François Demachy. The top notes feature lemon with a touch of acidic lime; the heart unfolds a harmony of May rose, peony, spices, lily of the valley, black currant, raspberry, and peach; while the base rests on white musk, amber, sandalwood, heliotrope, and oud wood.

Very floral; the rose projects strongly before drying down into a silky, warm musk. In my opinion, it’s very elegant; it’s definitely one of the best natural, sophisticated, and high-quality floral perfumes. I believe the fragrance is underestimated and overlooked, so I recommend trying it without hesitation.
Another creation by Dior under Francois Demachy’s hand. It’s a beautiful, classic, and elegant scent, very different from Rose Kabuki. While Kabuki was nostalgic and powdery, ideal for the opera, La Colle Noire is a deeper, cheerier rose. Its citrus opening is delicious and settles into a natural rose scent surrounded by red fruits, with a subtle sweetness. It reminds me of L’Extase by Nina Ricci but more refined. Moderate sillage and about 7 hours of longevity. Scent 6/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value 3.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? I didn’t end up buying it.
If you’ve seen the florists of Paris, La Colle Noire smells like that mental image: the romance of spring with fresh bouquets, like a bride who married in winter. It’s a delicate and cheerful floral, elegant yet carefree, beautiful without pretension or those scandalous patchouli trends; it smells modern without being a Tom Ford scent. Every time I wear it, I feel like the protagonist of a French film, wearing a light dress, a Dior Mitzah in my hair, with ‘La Vie en Rose’ playing in the background.
If you’ve strolled through the florists of Paris, La Colle Noire smells exactly like that: the romance of a Parisian spring with fresh bouquets, like a bride who married in winter and can’t wait for spring. It’s a delicate, cheerful, and elegant floral, yet without pretension or those scandalous patchouli trends; it smells modern without being a Tom Ford clone. Every time I wear it, I feel like the protagonist of a French film, wearing a light dress, a Dior Mitzah in my hair, with ‘La Vie en Rose’ playing in the background.
