  My god, I finally have my favorite from the line, and it’s this one: Jour Ensoleille is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. It approaches white florals from a very chypre angle, perhaps with a touch of orientals; there are these wonderful white flowers—jasmine, neroli, and orange blossom—that blend seamlessly with its own essence: myrrh, amber, and patchouli. It’s a gorgeous bouquet of white, spiced, warm, and slightly sweet flowers. In the dry down, I detect vetiver and sandalwood. How wrong I was to believe that white floral perfumes couldn’t vary much from one brand to another; this one is unique. It doesn’t evoke that typical cleanliness, but rather mystery, sensuality, great presence, and a femininity that highlights its strong side. In Jour Ensoleille, it feels like the myrrh, amber, and patchouli aren’t accompanying the flowers, but rather that the flowers are emanating them. It’s a delight bordering on madness, one of the most elegant, beautiful, natural, and original perfumes I’ve ever encountered in my life. For me, this perfume isn’t a 10, it’s a 1000.
