Wow what a beautiful rose note you get the moment you open it immediately turning into a rich woodiness. In Cameo the sandalwood doesn’t overpower the flower but rather accompanies it sharing the spotlight. It’s indescribably gorgeous; I’m testing it on my hand and can’t or won’t stop smelling it. After a couple of minutes labdanum amber musk and violet start to shine through—it’s absolutely driving my nose wild. That violet is captivating everything in its path with a distinct herbal note floating around probably from the iris root. There’s a soapy touch to it very vintage radiating elegance and subtlety; I’ve never heard a rose like Cameo’s or a labdanum this easy to discover. The quality is undeniable and the way its notes blend together is pure magic—it seduces and enchants. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves roses but wants something truly original. Cameo you’re a dream.
