Descripción

Imperial by Wesker is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2020, this composition features white clover, linden flower, jasmine, and sour cherry (morello) in its top notes. The heart reveals violet, mimosa, hot iron, and lily of the valley (convallaria), while the base settles on cotton flower, suede, paper, almond, and white musk.

Imperial ES is, without a doubt, one of the best violet perfumes I’ve ever tried. While the violet with its floral and talcum-powdered vibe takes the lead, there’s a potent fruity side featuring delicious cherries that are very pleasant at the opening, like an older sibling to Lost Cherry. The dry down is powdery, creamy, and filled with delightful almond notes. What’s interesting is that throughout the evolution, a very distinct metallic character emerges. The performance is incredible, typical of the Wesker collection: over 13 hours on skin and notable projection for the first 5-6 hours. If you love violets, cherries, and perfumes with that metallic touch, this is your best bet. Scent: 10, Longevity: 10, Projection: 8, Versatility: 7, Originality: 10, Overall: 10.

  • Imperial caught me off guard, but not in a bad way. It’s not my style, but I have to admit it’s well-made and has a stunning design. My nose doesn’t pick up the cherry or the top notes; what I smell is the heart and base. What really grabs me is the mimosa, which I detect from start to finish. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either, because mimosa always overpowers me and I usually don’t like it. I ordered a sample expecting something else, and as I feared, the mimosa is the only thing I smell. I also notice the powdery vibe of the violet, cotton, musk, and that strange metallic sensation of ‘hot iron,’ which is figurative, but it does smell somewhat like that. The official story is great, except for the cherry, which I don’t detect, though others might. It’s a quality, original, springtime fragrance with a feminine touch, better suited for daytime. It doesn’t have a strong sillage, but it’s noticeable. Don’t buy it blindly; we’ve all made mistakes, but this one, with that metallic note, isn’t for everyone. It’s pretty and has good longevity, but for me, it’s not my perfume.
