  Starts with a very feminine rose opening, but quickly settles into patchouli and frankincense. I detected a hint of vetiver, and the rose remains well-integrated throughout. To me, it doesn’t feel like much of a men’s scent, though it smells fantastic. The sillage isn’t very strong, nor is the longevity. If you care more about the scent than how long it lasts, this is highly recommended.

  Hippie Rose is a delightful discovery. While it revolves around rose, it treats it in such a unique way that it’s neither fresh, aquatic, nor sweet. The balance is perfect: the rose blends beautifully with bergamot, oakmoss, and incense, creating a rich and appealing scent, totally unisex with excellent quality. In dry down, it’s barely soapy and doesn’t distort anything. It reminds me a bit of Rochas Moustache EDP, but both use rose in a way I absolutely love. Ideal for dates or semi-formal events, with great performance in any weather. It can break paradigms for those who don’t like rose but seek something elegant and uncommon. I like it quite a bit and would buy it. Note: 8/10

  A brutal opening that defines less the hippie girl with roses and more the grandmother who hated 60s hippies. At first, it smells like an older woman, but then it settles and gets interesting. I’ll keep testing it to give my final verdict, but initially, the opening didn’t convince me.

Maybe it lacks a bit of quality in the notes to be a true niche scent and feels slightly commercial, but it’s an interesting proposal that I liked without being 100% blown away.
