Descripción

Her Secret by Antonio Banderas is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2012, the nose behind this composition is Sonia Constant. The top notes reveal wild strawberry, bitter orange blossom, and grapefruit; the floral heart is built on jasmine and neroli, while the sweet and woody base completes the olfactory pyramid with cedar, vanilla, and benzoin.

  • Similar to the men’s version, but softer and slightly floral. After a few hours, it smells like Mugler’s Angel, but with much less projection.

  • It feels very masculine; they went a bit overboard with the leather. It’s a pity because it’s not a bad scent.

  • It feels quite masculine; they went overboard with the leather notes, what a pity, because it’s not bad.

  • It smells masculine; it reminds me of something Lagerfeld launched over 30 years ago. But I don’t dislike it; I feel good wearing it.

  • Smells like something Kipling launched for men over three decades ago. It doesn’t bother me; in fact, I feel great wearing it.

I loved it! It’s all about personal taste. I don’t feel it’s masculine, but men are incredibly attracted to it. My partner, dad, brothers, and friends all ask about it, saying it’s irresistible. We women find it a bit repelling, and I don’t get why. For me, it gives me character, vigor, and passion; I feel empowered. It’s totally unconventional.

I loved it! It’s all about taste. I don’t feel it’s masculine, but men are incredibly attracted to it. My partner, my father, my brother, and my friends all ask me about it, saying it’s irresistible. Women aren’t quite sure why it repels us a bit. For me, it gives me character, vigor, and fervor. I feel like an empowered woman because it’s a totally unconventional fragrance.

  • I agree, it smells masculine. It has a touch of my grandfather’s cologne, but it’s not bad. I love men’s perfumes, so what does the target audience matter? People mock me for liking it, but I love how it smells on my skin. I wouldn’t buy it again, though; there’s one note that just doesn’t fit. It smells like men with synthetic vanilla and jasmine. Sillage and longevity are average, but it’s worth a try.

  • You’re right, it smells like a man’s scent. It has a touch of my grandfather’s cologne, but it’s not bad. I love men’s perfumes, so what if they say it’s for men? Even though people have mocked me for liking it… Anyway, it smells good on my skin, though I wouldn’t buy it. There’s one note that doesn’t fit. It smells like a man’s cologne with a very weak, synthetic hint of vanilla and jasmine. The trail and longevity are average, but for that price, it’s worth a try.

  • It’s not super feminine, nor is it masculine. On my skin, it works great—the longevity and sillage are top-notch for the price, lasting longer than expensive brands. However, the deodorant does smell masculine; I wouldn’t use it (I don’t use deodorant because it ruins perfumes).

  • I tried it and regretted it immediately; it was a mistake. I used it twice and got a brutal headache. I even gave it to my mom, and the moment she sprayed it, she felt the same discomfort. She won’t use it again because it affects her the same way.

  • I had it and I must say that (for me) it was a mistake to buy it. I used it only twice, and both times I had an unbearable headache from its smell (I knew because I gifted it to my mother, who wore it out, and upon smelling the fragrance, the discomfort returned). I don’t know why it happens, but even my mother doesn’t use it anymore, as she tells me it happens to her too.

I tried it on my skin and it fixed well, sweet and simple aroma, nothing extravagant. I’ll buy it.

  • It’s easier for me to choose a perfume for a man than for myself. Because I feel that most men’s perfumes smell delicious. And honestly, this one has a touch of men’s perfume. It’s right on that borderline of almost being one. But if it manages to keep its femininity, I feel it’s for a woman with character and personality. In fact, men will love it, and so will we. I recommend you guys try it. Watch out, they have a great price in the market, and I don’t know if that’s why it doesn’t last long.

  • I didn’t like it; it seems like a man’s perfume or something for an older lady. I received it as a gift, but the scent is so strong I never could wear it.

  • I didn’t like it, it seems like a man’s perfume or an old lady’s perfume, I received it as a gift but the scent is so strong I never managed to use it.

  • I have it, I liked it, it smells floral, it’s delicate, I didn’t find it so masculine. I bought the blue one, Her Secret Night, that one is beautiful!!! I love it, the best by Antonio.

  • SaidaSarai

I love it. It’s clearly unisex, it’s just a shame it doesn’t last long. I also regret that when it doesn’t appeal to people, they say it ‘smells like an old lady’; that’s disrespectful.

I love it. It’s clearly unisex, pity it has poor longevity. I also really regret that when a perfume isn’t liked, people say it ‘smells like an old lady.’ That’s disrespectful.

  • I like it a lot; I bought it for my girlfriend. At first, she thought it was strange, but it’s not as masculine as people say. She wears it to work and got great compliments. For me, it gives really good vibes; if only the sillage were better, it would be a great option. You can smell the strawberry and vanilla, and… that’s it, lol. I think it’s unisex; I’d wear it on a fall night with elegant sporty clothes.

  • I love it, I bought it for my girlfriend. At first she thought it was strange, but it’s definitely not masculine like they say. She wears it to work and got great compliments. Honestly, it gives me really good vibes when she wears it; if it had better sillage, it would be a great option. You can definitely smell the strawberry and vanilla, and… that’s it, haha. I think it’s quite unisex, something I’d also wear on a cool autumn night with elegant sporty clothes.

  • I tried this Eau de Toilette because I got a sample at my usual perfumerie. Normally, I don’t even approach fragrances with artist names (like Antonio Banderas, Shakira, Britney Spears, Rihanna, etc.), silly me! Though maybe those are prejudices… :/ I liked the opening. As with everything, it depends on personal pH; at first, I sensed the citrus fruits, the flowers as a whole (my runny nose can barely distinguish jasmine, rose, or freesia when they aren’t intense; please, don’t ask me to identify other flowers…), and the vanilla. I liked the scent. That’s what I felt for the first 3 hours. However, at 4 hours, the smell changed: you can tell something masculine. At 7 hours, it still smells like that up close. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not my taste. Maybe it’s the cedar and benzoin? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Luckily, it’s just a sample. Anyway, I’d like to try the blue flanker to see how the experience is with that ‘Her Secret’ variant.

  • I tried the EDT because I got a sample at my usual perfume shop. Normally I stay away from fragrances with artist names, silly me! Though maybe that’s just prejudice… I liked the opening: I sensed citrus, flowers (my runny nose can’t distinguish between jasmine, rose, or freesia when they’re soft, please don’t ask me to identify them…) and vanilla. I loved that for the first three hours. By four hours, the scent changed: it felt masculine. At seven hours, it still smells like that close to the skin. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not my taste. Maybe it’s the cedar and benzoin? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself. Luckily it was just a sample. Anyway, I’d like to try the blue flanker to see how the experience differs with that ‘Her Secret’ variant.

It smells delicious and very feminine at first, but after two hours it turns bitter and masculine due to the cedar. I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it again because of that ending; I even kept the little keychain.

  • I also feel it’s a bit masculine at first, but it’s acceptable. It doesn’t last long, but the quality-to-price ratio is pretty good.

  • It’s not for everyone. At first, it’s very woody and can be strong. But over time, it smells good: vanilla, floral, and even reminds me of coconut. Although the trail is soft, people have told me it smells nice. It has good value for money.

  • Tinaperfumada

At first, it smells very masculine, almost like Black XS, which I hate 😂😂. I’m not a fan of unisex woody scents. Once it dries down, you notice the vanilla, but it’s very subtle. As for longevity, 😞 it lasts about 5 hours and I have to reapply. But for a celebrity fragrance, it’s decent. And the price? Let’s not even talk about it.

  • I’ve had so many bottles I can’t remember them all; it’s beautiful, precious, and unique. I love it <3

  • It steps out of the usual feminine mold. It’s not masculine, but it leans toward unisex, which I like. The strongest note is cedar, then wild strawberry peeks through, followed by a floral touch and a vanilla that doesn’t really stand out. Overall, I liked it, though I prefer their other versions. It works well on cool days because in winter it fades quickly, but the cedar with the floral air is great on mild days. It lasted 3 hours and then was just skin scent, but for the price, it’s fine.

  • maiteriffo28

It’s gorgeous; it smells like a powerful woman due to the wood but soft because of the fruit, like a hug from mom.

  • I love it! Yes, it has a masculine touch. My boyfriend tried it and it suits him perfectly. To me, it smells sweet, creamy, and floral, ideal for autumn. The masculine note doesn’t bother me at all.

  • I tried it and at first I didn’t think it was unisex, but now it smells like a man’s scent. It gives off mystery and seduction with that strawberry sweetness and lots of wood. It’s for winter, works during the day, but I enjoy it more at night.
