Descripción

Her Secret Desire by Antonio Banderas is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance for women, launched in 2019. Composed by the perfumer who created it, the scent opens with a vibrant blend of raspberry and bergamot. The heart reveals floral and woody elegance with violet, iris root, Indian jasmine, and neroli. To close, the base notes offer a warm and enveloping persistence of vanilla, sandalwood, and balsam fir.

  • It arrived in my country right in the middle of winter, and I barely noticed it, projecting nothing. Now that it’s summer, what a difference! It feels in all its glory. It’s a pleasant fragrance, though it doesn’t bring anything new. It’s less potent than its predecessor, Her Secret Temptation. It has a sweet and floral touch. It doesn’t disappoint in summer; I’d say it’s ideal for spring and summer. For the price, it’s worth it. It’s like the more wearable, summer version of the previous one. Anyway, I liked it.

I was surprised by the longevity for the price. I tested it in spring and summer; it’s the perfect sweet scent for night use, especially for women who want to smell sweet without being cloying. I can definitely smell the raspberry and violet, but on my skin, the vanilla dominates without being invasive. I don’t think it’s unique, but it’s delicious and worth it for the price.

  • I tried it today and it’s pleasant and sensual, without the acidic opening note that clashes with me in Secret Temptation. Excellent combination, I loved the scent. The only problem is it lasted an hour and then almost disappeared, only detectable by rubbing my nose against the skin. Today in Buenos Aires (Argentina) we had 38°C with 60% humidity (hot summer), and it still vanished faster than a cologne. A pity because I liked the aroma. The bottle follows the ‘Secret’ line, not standout but acceptable; the diffuser is very good, which is rare.

  • I tried it today. It’s a pleasant and sensual fragrance, without that acidic opening note I get with Secret Temptation that really bothers me. Excellent combination, I loved the scent. The only problem is that on my skin it lasted an hour and then almost disappeared; you can only smell it when you rub your nose against it. Today in Buenos Aires we hit 38°C with 60% humidity (very hot summer), and yet it faded, less than a simple cologne. What a shame because I liked the smell. The bottle follows the ‘Secret’ line, doesn’t stand out but is acceptable; the diffuser is very good, which isn’t common.

  • I like sweets, but this is too strong for me. The opening has a lot of alcohol, which made me a bit dizzy; I’d have to apply just a drop to feel comfortable. I bought it based on reviews, but I think those who like it have a huge tolerance for sweetness. It’s delicious, but I’d appreciate if it were lighter.

I don’t understand why people claim Antonio Banderas perfumes are similar to designer fragrances. Spoiler: it doesn’t resemble Poison Girl. But it smells good. I perceive it as fruity, vanilla, and slightly musky. It smells like alcohol and a bit sharp at first, but once it settles, it smells super good. It has a faint LVEB dry-down. It’s linear but would be great for daily use.

  • Smells like candied almonds, a soft scent that doesn’t bother. Moderate longevity. It’s very on the vibe of Poison Girl but lighter. It has the same sweetness from a distance.

  • On my skin, once the strong alcohol evaporates at the start, it smells like vanilla strawberry, woody, and sensual. I love it! The only issue is it doesn’t last more than half an hour on my skin.

  • On my skin, after the initial hit of alcohol settles, it smells like strawberry with vanilla, woody, and sensual. I love it! The only downside is that it doesn’t last more than half an hour on my skin.

  • Girls, let me give you my opinion as a man: it drives me crazy, haha. I can smell it up close and my senses go wild, lol. This is the only fragrance that does this to me.

  • Girls, let me give you my opinion as a man: it drives me crazy, haha. I feel it up close and my senses are overwhelmed, haha. This is the only fragrance that has ever done this to me.

What Black Opium dupes are these? They’re literally very similar and smell better than Shakira’s Red Midnight, another ‘dupe.’ Worth it for the price. I didn’t notice it until I was gifted samples, and Her Secret Desire was among them. Strong aroma with chocolate and honey notes, and the trail is incredible. 10/10.

  • I received this in a gift set with a matching body spray. It’s sweet and intense at first, then softens. On my skin, the fruity notes dominate over the musk. I wear it all day, at home, at work, and for casual outings. It’s versatile, suitable for any season and time of day. It doesn’t overwhelm me, but it’s great for daily wear and has a reasonable price.

  • They gave it to me; it came in a kit with a body spray of the same scent. I like it; it’s quite sweet, intense at first, then softens. On my skin, it doesn’t smell like talcum powder; the fruity notes dominate. I use it for everything: at home, at work, and for casual outings. It’s versatile, adapts to any season and time of day. It doesn’t drive me crazy, but I think it’s good for daily use and has a reasonable price.

  • Smells like synthetic but sweet, almost caramelized and toasted raspberry. Blends beautifully with the woody notes. The musk is subtle, merging with the jasmine and violet over time. It’s sweet without being cloying, perfect for cold days. Lasted about 8 hours before fading to skin scent, which surprised me. Overall, it’s feminine, delicious, and sensual, though a bit shy.

  • It’s a very cheap perfume for how good it is. Without a doubt, it’s a hidden treasure. I bought it as a gift and asked the birthday girl to spray some on my wrist to try it. This perfume lasted 14 hours on my skin, and its scent, I’d dare say, is superior to Britney’s Fantasy Festive. It’s a slightly acidic fruity fragrance with floral notes in the dry down. It has moderate sillage and brutal longevity that easily lasts a full workday (if you’re not a smoker). While it’s a sweet fruity floral, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it produces that irresistible magnetic attraction in men; they feel compelled to smell the perfume constantly. Ideal for keeping men like bees to honey on dates or night outings. Highly recommended 100%, and recommended for men to gift to look like a king on a low budget. Only someone with expensive tastes might not like it, because its content truly smells like a more expensive perfume.

  • I was looking for a sensual fragrance or one suitable for dates because I love the phrase ‘you smell so good.’ After researching, I found this; the hype about men liking it convinced me. For its price, it’s a bomb. The first two days were confusing due to the persistent alcohol smell and poor longevity. The alcohol disappeared by the third use, and so did the poor longevity: it went from lasting 3-4 hours on me to over 10. The longevity on the neck is brutal, and forget about it if you apply it with vaseline. Its sillage on me is moderate-to-large, projecting for about 3.5 hours before fading to a soft trail. As for the scent, I love it: it’s 85% similar to YSL’s Black Opium, a cousin without the coffee note but with a raspberry note that makes it less sweet and more fruity. The sweetness intensifies at the end. In terms of performance, it’s powdery, sweet like a jammed ripe raspberry combined with woods and flowers that give it a beautiful balance. The girl at the perfumery said it seemed more adult; while I don’t believe perfumes have an age, this doesn’t smell hyper-youthful like a citrus floral; it’s more nocturnal and sexy, but suitable for everyday wear in winter, autumn, or cool spring/summer nights. A total 10/10.

  • I bought it blind based on reviews, looking for something tasty, long-lasting, and affordable. Before, I had Her Secret Temptation and loved it, but with Desire, that’s not the case. I’ve been using it for almost a week and feel it doesn’t last at all on my skin, about an hour, with almost no sillage. At first, the sweetness and alcohol are a bit overwhelming, but once it dries down, it’s more bearable and tasty, though soft. I’ll keep using it for a few more days to see if it wins me over.

  • Críticodeperfumes

It’s a hyper-sweet and caramelous fragrance; I don’t sense the resemblance to Black Opium at all, as some say. It has good sillage and decent longevity for an eau de toilette. Recommended.

  • SweetCammie

It’s VERY similar to Agatha R’s Kiss by Prada. At first, I sensed very little raspberry, but I was tempted to try it after reading comments here. Also, since I already owned Her Secret Temptation and found it a rich, semi-long-lasting fragrance for the price, this didn’t disappoint. It has originality, even though wood and violet notes dominate on my skin; I thought it would have more personality, but seriously, it reminds me a lot of Agatha’s Kiss. However, since I love and adore sweet fragrances, I use it gladly.

  • Génesis D

It’s a tasty fragrance. To me, it smells like a young adult woman: kind but serious. A friend said it smelled like an older lady, but I don’t agree. You can subtly detect the raspberry citrus and the vanilla in the dry down that gives it that sweet touch. It’s quite powdery but has body, which adds a seductive vibe. It’s not invasive or overwhelming (unless you wear it first thing in the morning). It’s ideal for coffee dates with friends, a walk in the park on a cool day, a date, or a night out, as its scents are subtle. Preferably for evening wear; I wouldn’t use it in very hot weather. Great price and worth it.

  • It’s a typical senseless diluted vanilla perfume, with no sillage, no projection, and no evolution. It’s like a watered-down Black Opium, and the only thing it has going for it is the cute bottle colors.

  • Smells quite similar to Éclat de Mercadona, which in turn is an almost exact clone of Escada’s Moon Sparkle. It’s no coincidence that all three use the same two colors on the bottle.

  • A friend lent me this perfume. As soon as I applied it, I smelled a brutal alcohol scent, which then turned fruity but remained equally intense. It seemed very sweet, fruity, and vanilla-like, but nothing special. It could be the must-have for some sweet lovers, but it’s not for me. I only started to like it towards the end, when it turned fresh and floral. What does stand out is the longevity (at least on my skin; my friend says it doesn’t last on her at all); I could smell it after showering, it seemed crazy! Overall, it’s not a bad perfume, but it wasn’t to my liking. I’d recommend it to someone looking for something intense and sweet, but I think there are better options.

  • A friend let me try it, and at first, the alcohol hit hard until it softened a bit with fruity notes. It seemed very sweet, vanilla, and fruity, but lacked personality. I see it as a must-have for sweet lovers, but it’s not for me. I only liked it at the end when it turned fresh and floral. What really stands out is its longevity; on my skin, it lasted even after showering, something my friend can’t achieve. In short, it’s not bad, but I didn’t love it. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something intense and sweet, though there are better options out there.
