At first, I hesitated to buy Golpar; it feels like a risky bet because you have to understand this unconventional fragrance. Right away, it smells like nothing you’ve worn before: a spicy, astringent punch. As it settles, the pepper really comes through and the vetiver emerges without being overpowering. When it dries down, there’s that wild moss note with a touch of resin—perfect for fresh weather, not necessarily cold. It has great longevity, easily 7-8 hours, and projects very well. Believe me, it will confuse a lot of people; I’d say it’s about 70% more of a men’s fragrance.
