Great perfume if you consider its longevity, projection, and price. If you liked the original or the listed notes, you have to give it a try.
Gentlemen, what a beast of a fragrance. Great longevity, price, and quality, plus it’s very similar to TM’s Pure Havane. 10/10 without a doubt.
If you look at the longevity, projection, and price, it’s a great perfume. If you liked the original or its listed notes, give it a shot.
Incredibly rich scent, super similar to Pure Havane. Don’t buy it blind. It’s basically a tobacco-honey DNA, then vanilla and a chocolatey touch kick in, along with that classic mint-patchouli vibe from A*Men.
Incredibly rich aroma, very similar to Pure Havane. I don’t recommend buying blind. It’s basically a tobacco-honey DNA, later adding vanilla, a chocolatey touch, and that classic menthol and patchouli from A*Men.
This perfume is an absolute beast; Maison Alhambra’s quality is on another level. I saw many sellers crying because they had to drop the price of Pure Havane—it’s 99.9% similar. The only difference is the bottle, and the scent is incredible. Performance is off the charts: about 9 hours with strong projection for the first 2 hours, gentlemen.
Joining the previous comments: this is an absolute bomb. I tested it on a decant and I’m definitely taking the 100ml bottle. It starts fresh and intense, then settles into that sweet tobacco with honey, and finally that pleasant vanilla that doesn’t get cloying. Also, the bottle looks great and the price is very reasonable. What more could you ask for?
Until June 6th, 2025, this is the Arabic perfume that has exceeded my expectations the most this year. The DNA reminds me of some Parfums de Marly, I’m not sure which one, but definitely one. To me, the patchouli stands out more than the tobacco, and I love it: patchouli, tobacco, honey, and vanilla. It lasts about 6 hours with strong projection for the first hour. The trail is gorgeous. Not for anyone under 30; ideal for men in their 40s who want to project experience but with vitality and sensuality. Perfect for night out in casual wear. Versatile.
If you’re nostalgic for the original Black XS by Paco Rabanne, try layering it with Shaghaf Men by Swiss Arabian (or a citrus with a loud opening). It smells identical, bringing back good memories, and what a disappointment when they reformulated it. Plus, this is a beast mode fragrance, suitable for any weather and occasion.
It arrived today. I haven’t tried Pure Havane or Pure Malt, but it’s a great perfume. Good longevity, with a fresh tobacco flower opening that’s almost astringent and citrusy, which then mutates into a moderate tobacco and bright honey that fades out. The amber is present and ends with very soft vanilla and cocoa before vanishing. It reminded me of Le Male Elixir, which I use a lot. Let’s see how it progresses with oxidation/maceration.
After a long time, here’s a complete and honest review. The scent is incredible: tobacco, honey, and cocoa. It’s a sweet pipe tobacco bathed in honey with cocoa touches and a slightly vanilla/amber base. Scent and aromatic quality are 10; the Maison Alhambra quality is surprisingly high, even among the brand’s best. Longevity is its weak point: very vague 7 hours on skin. 45 minutes of strong projection and trail, but it’s a personal aura fragrance, not something you’ll feel everywhere. Then it fades quickly, becoming a skin scent. If it lasted better, I’d recommend it totally because it’s exquisite, but only for daily autumn/winter use or sweet, rich, formal situations without bothering anyone. Product quality: 8/10. Aromatic quality: 10/10. Longevity: 5/10. Seasons: Autumn and Winter. Occasions: Daily wear.
I’ve had it for a month and I hate it with my soul. It smells like my dad’s old shaving foam, evoking an ‘old man’ vibe. The Elixir smells better, rich and fruity, like a tuttifruti incense according to my girlfriend. The problem: it gives me an instant headache with just a few sprays. Simply put, we just weren’t made for each other, haha.
I’ve had this perfume for a month and I hate it with my soul. It smells like my dad’s old shaving foam, so it evokes an ‘old man’ vibe for me. On the other hand, the Elixir is much more wearable, rich, and fruity, like a tuttifrutti incense as my girlfriend put it. The problem? It gives me an instant headache, even with just a couple of sprays. Simply not a match for us, haha.
Contrary to what many read, on my skin it lasts quite a while and projects strongly at first. The bottle is heavy and the scent is top-notch for the price: sweet tobacco with patchouli. Without a doubt, it’s worth it for the cost.
Contrary to what I read in many reviews, on my skin it has decent longevity and very good initial projection. The bottle feels substantial, and the aroma is excellent for the price. It’s a sweet tobacco note with plenty of patchouli. Given the cost, I highly recommend it.
The scent is incredible, and unlike others, the performance is decent. On me, it lasts 2 hours projecting moderately, then 4 hours on the skin—not bad for what I paid. It’s 70% tobacco, honey, and vanilla, with the rest of the notes at 30%. Ideal for sweet but subtle situations that invite getting closer. I wouldn’t use it at a club because it doesn’t compete with Afnan’s 9pm or Armaf’s Club de Nuit Intense.
I absolutely love this perfume every time I wear it; I’m very happy with the purchase and have no regrets. Its main notes are tobacco and honey: a sweet tobacco wrapped in dense, slightly amber honey that gives a small liquor touch. The feeling is warm, enveloping, and quite addictive. Cocoa, vanilla, and sandalwood soften the blend, giving it a very pleasant creamy and dense texture. It’s fairly linear, maintaining practically the same aroma from the first spray to the dry down, which I don’t consider negative here because the profile is very enjoyable. It’s clearly a fragrance designed for cold climates, where it truly shines. In heat, that creaminess can become a bit heavy. I see it as ideal for dates or night outs, with a cozy trail that invites people to get closer at short range. Personally, I perceive it as more suitable for people over 30, as it doesn’t seem like a particularly youthful perfume. On my skin, applied on clothes, it has great longevity, easily reaching 8-9 hours, and can even be detected at the end of the workday. I’ve noticed
I don’t know if there are Chinese copies; I doubt it much as it wouldn’t seem profitable, but mine doesn’t last more than an hour once it fades to skin scent—a real joke. So the Intense only has the engraving on the bottle; nothing like Pure Havane in performance. Nothing like Pure Havane either; here, the opening is more like A*Mén with some nuances, but you don’t get the tobacco or cherry. In my case, the scent is a disaster, lacking any structure. I totally recommend these alternatives instead: Emir ‘Voux élégant’, which is more wearable with less tobacco, more vanilla and creamy, or with the tobacco and honey notes more prominent but without cherry; for Insurrection II, I’ve tried both and they are quite satisfactory.
It’s pretty much that. Check the bottle and you’ll see the resemblance to the originals: Galactic Men Intense is like Mugler’s Pure Havane, and Galactic Men Elixir is like Mugler’s Pure Malt. By the way, the profile for Galactic Men Elixir needs to be added to Fragrantica; I have it in my collection.
A very well-executed dupe with exquisite longevity and a great price.
The opening is fantastic; I’m super satisfied with no regrets. It smells like tobacco and honey: a sweet tobacco wrapped in dense, amber honey with a slight liquor note. The vibe is warm, enveloping, and addictive. Cocoa, vanilla, and sandalwood soften the mix, giving it a creamy, dense texture that’s very pleasant. It’s fairly linear, keeping the same scent from start to finish, which isn’t negative here because it smells great. It’s clearly made for cold weather where it really shines; in heat, the creaminess can get heavy. I see it as ideal for dates or nights out, with a cozy trail that invites people closer. On my skin, especially on clothes, it lasts a long time—about 8-9 hours until the end of work. Also, it improved after resting for a few weeks, gaining depth and longevity. In short, excellent value for money. Rating: 8/10
