What a fragrance, what an unknown scent, what a manly aroma that makes kids stay away. Here comes an Italian gangster in a ripped black leather jacket, hopping off a Harley after hitting a few clubs. Whiskey notes are very present from the start; this is boozy, dense, and smoky right from minute one. The woods gain weight as the composition evolves, aged barrel notes, sweet undertones, and the brand’s classic vanilla. Totally wearable, exquisite as a whole, evolving, with no unpalatable olfactory experiences. Note: it’s an exclusive edition designed to sell in an Italian perfumery. Boozy fragrance lovers, try it.
A very mature scent; I don’t judge it by the brand or perfumer. It reminds me of someone over 40, nothing youthful. If it’s formal, it’s very formal, very strong, and boozy; in the dry-down, oud dominates (I’m not a fan of that note). In short, it’s a challenging fragrance, nothing youthful, strong without too much sillage, with high longevity. 7/10
