I bought it because a friend recommended it and I jumped in blindly. The problem is that it doesn’t smell like real coffee, but rather an artificial idea of coffee. There’s a Pepco candle with a coffee scent that smells exactly like the Notino ‘Woodwick Trilogy Café Sweets’ scented candle. The scent is clove-forward, which is why I didn’t like it—it made me feel like I was smelling a candle. But that wasn’t the only issue: it has zero projection, it’s like a body mist. During the first half-hour, you can smell it a bit when you move, but afterward, you have to press your nose to your wrist to remember you even put on perfume. I listed it on Vinted and it sold. I won’t miss it.
I only have a decant that I’ve tried a few times. Paris Corner is a house I generally like, but their creations don’t always click for me. ‘Eternal Coffee’ opens with a delicious mix of milk coffee, lots of cocoa, and liquor, evoking winter afternoons, cookies, and hot chocolate. The alcoholic note is warm and comforting, like a touch of Frangelico or dulce de leche liqueur. However, the issue is that it smells heavily of cocoa, caramel, cream, and liquors—I don’t detect the coffee I was so hoping for. A few minutes in, amidst the cocoa, a sweet, syrupy coconut emerges while caramel toffee and whipped cream gain prominence. It’s soft as a caress, almost imperceptible; the heliotrope adds a nearly cherry-like vanilla touch. Close to the skin, the tonka bean’s musky note, toasted sugar, and caramel linger for hours. I like it, but it’s not for me; I don’t think I’ll buy it.
I didn’t like it at all. The scent repulses me. It’s like a toffee caramel. I bought it blind and it just didn’t hit the mark.
I hated it. It repulses me. It smells like burnt caramel toffee. I bought it blindly and it just didn’t work for me.
It smells synthetic and strongly of stale buttery cookies.
To me, it smells like Sol de Janeiro’s ‘Minya’ or ‘Cheirosa 62’, but with a hint of coffee added.
I bought this blind just seeing the coconut notes and dove in. It smells absolutely delicious; at first, you notice the coffee, but then it fades away, leaving a coconut cream scent that I just love. Plus, it lasts forever and is literally the creamy coconut I was searching for.
It’s a super milky latte macchiato where the milk and caramel take the lead, while the coffee stays in the background. The vibe is rich, sweet, and comforting—very gourmand. It has a soft, almost dessert-like texture, so it smells more like a sweet treat than a drink. It will attract lovers of creamy, sweet scents, not those seeking an intense or bitter coffee. Performance is moderate: on skin, it lasts about 6-7 hours with soft projection that becomes intimate, though it lasts longer on clothes. It’s not a bold coffee scent, but rather powerful in sweetness, cozy, and perfect for cold or rainy days. If you’re looking for a dominant coffee note, this will feel too milky for you, but if you love creamy caramel vibes, this is exactly what you’re after. It’s unisex, with the coffee adding a masculine touch. The coconut starts dry and then blends with the milk and coconut cream until the end, finishing like a nostalgic coconut caramel from childhood.
I bought it blindly after seeing the coconut notes and dove in. It smells delicious; at first, you notice the coffee, but then it disintegrates, leaving behind a coconut cream scent that I absolutely love. Plus, it lasts forever—it’s literally the creamy coconut I was looking for.
