Have you worn Escada Summer Festival?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Tested it in the heat and wow, the floral burst is a real showstopper, no joke. The icy note makes it super fresh. Not quite for night due to the sillage, but during the day it lasts about 5 hours and really shines. It’s more of a spring scent, but it works for those scorching summer days.

I bought it this summer looking for something tropical and juicy. It’s not bad, but nothing special. I liked it at first, but it didn’t win me over. It’s cheerful and carefree, very synthetic, fruity, and youthful. Too much for my taste. I’m past the age for this type of perfume now, but I have to admit that with this cologne I feel older. Every time I wear it, I think I’m no longer the age to carry it. It makes me feel older. But it doesn’t smell bad, does it? It’s a scent a teenager would love, but I think it clashes with someone over 35. It’s refreshing and fruity; what reminds me most is a strawberry ice cream with a floral touch, the Camy Mua-Mua that was sold when I was little and had a lip shape (yes, I’m older than Tana). Since I smelled it, I always thought it reminded me of something until one day that memory unlocked. And it smells exactly like that: strawberry ice cream with a floral touch.

I’ve been buying Escada’s summer editions for years; some are better crafted than others. This Summer Festival reminds me of previous editions, nothing new. It feels more fruity than floral. I detect grenadine along with cherry blossom. It’s a pretty perfume for spring and summer, but there are previous editions that are much better.

I liked it quite a bit! Upon smelling it, the base notes are similar to all of Escada’s summer perfumes, but mainly what I smell most is orange blossom with candies, haha. Although it’s a very comfortable perfume to wear because it doesn’t have a strong sillage.

The first thing I thought when I smelled it was mandarin, and then how much it resembled the ‘Flor de Sol’ edition. Once it dried down after 15 minutes, it reminded me of ‘Rock in Rio’ because the mandarin intensity dropped and it smelled more fruity. It smells like a tropical fruit cocktail, and I think it carries mango and almost certainly strawberry or raspberry. I don’t perceive any flowers or anything else besides fruit.
